This weeks message “Do I Have A Willing Heart?”

Today’s Reading is Exodus 12:1-20

1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb [a] for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire—head, legs and inner parts. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD’s Passover.  12 “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. 14 “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD -a lasting ordinance. 15 For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel. 16 On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat—that is all you may do.  17 “Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. 18 In the first month you are to eat bread made without yeast, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty-first day. 19 For seven days no yeast is to be found in your houses. And whoever eats anything with yeast in it must be cut off from the community of Israel, whether he is an alien or native-born. 20 Eat nothing made with yeast. Wherever you live, you must eat unleavened bread.”

1.  In this Torah portion the narrative story begins again with Moses calling the Children of Israel to ASSEMBLE TOGETHER.  This is the pre-cursor to the SHIKINAH GLORY of the Lord YHWH coming down to dwell in the midst of the Mishkan.  This is the most amazing prophecy if you have eyes to see it.  Look at the progression that the Israelites have gone through so far;  separated from their FATHER Ya’akov (Jacob) and from the “Chosen One” Yosef–the one who had ruled over them in Egypt as their Brother who the remaining 11 Tribes were convinced had “DIED”.  This is a wonderful picture of the History of our people.

Sin causes “FAMINE” in our individual lands; there is no food or water for growing crops to sustain ourselves anywhere.  Our FATHER–just like Ya’akov (Jacob) sends us out looking for food– and we find food– in Egypt.  However we cannot have the food because the SON OF PROMISE–Yosef, a type and shadow of Yeshua –is ruling in Egypt on behalf of–OR EVEN AS PHARAOH in this far away land, just like  YESHUA is RULING  even AS THE FATHER and just like Yosef–Yeshua has been preparing for the great famine that was over the whole world which is the Great Tribulation Period and YHWH’s judgement of ALL THE FALSE gods OF THE EGYPTIANS.  Yosef will NOT just let us have the FOOD, which is the TORAH: God’s Teaching and Instructions for a right life PLEASING TO HIM.

Yosef WILL GIVE IT TO US, just like YESHUA WILL ASSIGN US AS RIGHTEOUS BY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, but not until and not without us confessing our Sin’s/Torahlessness that we committed against our brother Yosef.  However, it is not enough to just ADMIT what was done to YOSEF–because Yosef MAKES THE BROTHERS commit an ACT OF SELF-SACRIFICE–they must DEMONSTRATE THEIR REPENTANCE–by bringing Benjamin in, which is a TYPE AND SHADOW OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE Presenting US–as Benjamin was presented to Yosef.  The Prophecies of Ezekiel and Jeremiah clearly state that JUDAH COMES “TO” THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL and not THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL GOING TO THE HOUSE OF JUDAH.  When we begin living the lifestyle of the Jewish people–with the fire of the Ruach Elohim–with the FIRE OF YHWH’S SPIRIT ONCE AGAIN, THEN and ONLY THEN will YOSEF REVEAL HIMSELF TO HIS BROTHERS and be reunited once again with HIS FATHER’S HOUSEHOLD.

Then in the same portion Yosef and Ya’akov BOTH DIE.  This is a symbol of the Lord YESHUA dying in our place and Yaakov’s/Jacobs death is a type and shadow of how the 10 Northern Tribes would be “LOST” or considered “DEAD” amidst the Nations of the World–even though they are present in EACH and EVERY NATION LANGUAGE AND TONGUE UNDER HEAVEN.  Then following their death, a NEW PHAROAH RISES UP–a type and shadow of the CATHOIC SYSTEM (not the people–as the people are innocent)–WHO DOES NOT KNOW YOSEF or anything good or bad that YOSEF had done as the Leader of Egypt under the PHARAOH.

This NEW PHAROAH ENSLAVES THE ISRAELITES–and the dark period begins.  FOR OVER 200 years the ISRAELITES ARE STRUGGLING in SLAVERY and they cry out FOR A DELIVERER –for the MESSIAH to come and RESCUE THEM from the evil PHARAOH.  This is just like us in the day to day slavery of our lives without hope in the earth.  FAR AWAY FROM ISRAEL–and WITHOUT A HOPE.  Then……. YHWH REMEMBERS HIS COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM–and SENDS A DELIVERER–MOSES–to LEAD THE CAPTIVES FREE–JUST LIKE YHWH REMEMBERED  HIS COVENANT WITH KING DAVID AND ABRAHAM–and Sent YESHUA THE MESSIAH to come as the SUFFERING SERVANT OF ISAIAH 53 to DEFEAT ALL THE FALSE GOD’S THE EVIL PHARAOH HAD PLACED ABOVE THE ISRAELITES.  YESHUA defeats EVERY FALSE god and EVERY FALSE doctrine that is NOT found in HIS TORAH.

Then YHWH directs MOSES to lead the children of Israel out FOLLOWING THE FIRST PESACH–the FIRST PASSOVER (which is why we have a Double Torah Portion with Pekudei in Exodus 12).  Even as God has ORDERED THAT WE ARE SET FREE FROM SLAVERY BY ACCEPTING YESHUA’S SACRIFICIAL OFFERING AS THE PASSOVER LAMB–ADMITTING US INTO ISRAEL and AUTHORIZING ALL WHO ARE CIRCUMCISED IN HEART–even as MOSES was–TO EAT FREELY OF THE PASSOVER SACRIFICIAL LAMB–which we partake of EACH YEAR AT PASSOVER, and replicate at the SHABBAT KIDDUSH on EREV SHABBAT each Friday at sundown.

Then the FORMER SLAVES–Who HAD SACRIFICED THEIR FORMER STATUS–AS SLAVES–Were led THROUGH the REED SEA–which is a type and shadow of what happens to us when MOSES and THE LIVING TORAH lead US TO BE MIKVAHED/BAPTISED INTO THE COMMANDMENTS….the true meaning of the Hebrew Idiom of “IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

THEN MOSES leads the FORMER SLAVES TO MOUNT SINAI to be MARRIED TO YHWH.  YHWH gives the former slaves THE TORAH: LIVING INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE to YESHUA AS THEIR “KETTUBAH” or their Hebrew Wedding Contract.  Just like MOSES TODAY–LEADS US TO THE WEDDING FEAST–BY IDENTIFYING THE ONES YHWH HAS CHOSEN TO BE THE BRIDE OF YHWH……….and that BRIDE IS CALLED “ISRAEL” or the “JEWS” today.  If you have been chosen by the Holy One –Blessed be HE–then YOU TOO ARE A JEW.  CIRCUMCISED BY YHWH, and BAPTISED INTO THE COMMANDMENTS. YOU HAVE NOT REPLACED THE NATURALLY BORN JEWS–BUT YOU HAVE BEEN GRAFTED INTO THE NATURAL OLIVE TREE ALONG SIDE OF THE EXISTING JEWISH NATION!

Well there are those who WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS CALLING.  THEY WILL SAY “MOSES IS DONE AWAY WITH” and they will ask THEIR PRIESTS TO MAKE THEM gods that they can SEE–like a DEAD MAN ON A STICK–and the POPE–A BEAST COVERED IN GOLD WHICH ARE TWO FROM THE CATHOLIC SYSTEM FOR EXAMPLE.  When you bow to these–then you have also partaken of the “EIGEL”–the REBELLION OF THE GOLDEN CALF,  that results in 3000 dying and a plague breaking out against the NATION because SIN IS NOT JUST PERSONAL–SIN IS ALSO COMMUNAL.

Moses RETURNS with the Commandments FROM YHWH and they are thrown down and BROKEN.  This is a TYPE AND SHADOW OF YESHUA COMING DOWN the FIRST TIME–WHERE THE BIBLE USES THE  WORF “EV’EN”  in Hebrew meaning “From Father to Son.”  Even as TODAY THE SPIRIT OF MOSES HAS RETURNED TO THIS GENERATION TO FIND THAT THERE IS “REVELRY IN THE CAMP” OF YHWH.  THOSE WITH MOSES SPIRIT–ARE CRYING OUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE FOR YHWH TO “COME OUT” to BE OUTGATHERED–and INGATHERED BACK TO MOSES COMMANDMENTS.  SAYING THAT MOSES IS “DONE AWAY WITH” IS LITERALLY SAYING THAT YESHUA–WHO IS THE PHYSICAL EMBODIMENT OF THOSE SAME EXACT COMMANDS–IS DONE AWAY WITH (YHWH FORBID!!).

The Question we have to ask today is who are we?  Are we the MOSES and YESHUA to this generation of Jews and those who DO NOT YET KNOW THEY ARE JEWS IN THE CHURCHES BECAUSE THEY LOST THEIR IDENTITY in over 2000 years of SLAVERY UNDER AN EVIL PHARAOH–CATHOLIC RULE?  Now can you see the Prophecies ALL Fitting together in a CONTINUOUS PROGRESSION?  Yet there is still more……

After the Wedding at MOUNT SINAI the children of ISRAEL are asked to make  WILLING OFFERING–a “TERUMAH”–to the Lord YHWH to provide the materials and provisions for the Mobile Moving Tabernacle in the Wilderness: The MISHKAN.  The people prepared their offerings of Gold, Silver, and Precious Stones, Crimson, Blue, Purple and White Weavers Cloth and much more.  THE ONE CAVEAT–OR THE ONE REQUIREMENT FOR THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL IS THAT TO CREATE THIS HOME FOR THE PRESENCE OF YHWH IN THEIR MIDST THEIR GIVING HAD TO BE FROM A WILLING HEART.

Today, as we sit in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA–and live out our lives as BELIEVERS in the GOD OF ISRAEL–we do many things.  We build, we Destroy, we raise up and we tear down.  We rush from this program to that program, and we have all spent years in the FIRST CHURCH OF THE FROZEN CHOSEN—ASLEEP IN THE DARKNESS.  We were “SAVED” as our Status Change is based on WHAT GOD DOES–NOT ON WHAT WE DO,  for you are Delivered from the SINFUL WORLD and placed WITHIN ISRAEL by GRACE THOUGH FAITH –ONLY.  But then we touted our FREEDOM to the point that we made Golden Calf after Golden Calf.  And we suffered through them WISHING to just have MORE FAITH, when we did not have FAITH at all but we had BELIEF.

“FAITH” in the religion of Israel comes from the word “EMUNAH” which means “STEADFAST OBEDIENCE TO GODS TEACHING AND ISNTRUCTIONS –THE TORAH.”  Yet today most people believe that FAITH MEANS BELIEF or HOPE.  The Demons believe–shoot even satan “Believes;” in fact I might argue that he is 110% certain who Yeshua is.  So what separates OUR BELIEF from the fact that the DEMONS OF HELL and THEIR leader actually BELIEVE??  SHOOT–if you think about this honestly even satan ACTS ON HIS BELIEFS.  HE BELIEVES  that HE IS ETERNALLY CONDEMNED and DAMNED–THUS HE SEEKS TO TAKE AS MANY AS HE CAN WITH HIM–HIS BELIEF MOTIVATES HIM TO ACT TOO………..SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND hastan?? Or US and the demons of Hell?

The ONLY THING THAT DISTINGUISHES YOU IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS OBEDIENCE TO THE TORAH –DONE BY GRACE and THROUGH FAITH–WHICH IS THE DEFINITION OF LOVING YHWH.  Yet to do this, just like the Children of Israel in this Torah Portion–we have to distinguish one thing and one thing only: DO YOU HAVE A WILLING HEART?  A Willing Heart Carries the SHAME of YESHUA, the JEWISH RABBI, the ISRAELI and KING OF THE JEWS who is REJECTED and SLANDERED–BROKEN and AFFLICTED——FOR SOMEONE ELSES SALVATION.  IS OUR HEART WILLING?  Are we WILLING to make our TERUMAH–our OFFERINGS of GIVING AND our OFFERINGS OF SERVICE done solely for the LIFE OF SOMEONE ELSE??

Just getting someone CONVERTED is NOT DISCIPLING THEM TO MATURITY!  TO DISCIPLE YOU HAVE TO BE INVOLVED AND CARE AND BE WILLING TO WALK IN THE TRENCHES WITH THEM.  DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THAT JUST BY PASSING THE SAMERITANS ON THE HIGHWAY and STOPPING TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT THEY ARE SAVED–THAT YOU HAVE IN ANY WAY DONE YOUR DUTIES TO GOD OR MAN.  LOVE PREFERS THE “OTHER” and to PREFER THE OTHERS IT TALES A WILLING HEART.  A WILLING HEART is the ONLY HEART THAT WILL BUILD THE TABERNACLE like the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL DID ON THIS PORTION.

THERE ARE TWO HELPERS IN THE PORTION–ONE MAN NAMED “BEZALEL”–MEANING ” YHWH SEEN IN SHADOW”  who was with the Tribe of JUDAH–WHO HAS BEEN FILLED WITH A “DIVINE SPIRIT” to complete HIS TASK OF TAKING THE TERUMAH of the WILLING HEARTED ISRAELITE AND BUILDING THE MISHKAN–MOBILE MOVING TABERNACLE.  The Other Man chosen is “OHOLIAB” WHICH MEANS “FATHERS TENT” from the TRIBE OF DAN.  THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND THE HOUSE OF JUDAH.  BY REMOVING EITHER “BEZALEL”–JUDAH, or “OLOLIAB”–CONVERTS FROM THE NATIONS–THE MISHKAH TABERNACLE WOULD NOT BE BUILT FOR THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.  BOTH MEN WERE NEEDED–JUST LIKE BOTH THE JEWS AND CONVERTS THROUGH MESSIAH ARE NEEDED TO ERECT THIS LAST DAYS TABERNACLE.

A WILLING HEART MOTIVATES GOD TO DO THE MIRACULOUS, BUT AS LONG AS OUR VISION IS ON THE HERE AND THE NOW–OF THE PHYSICAL WORLD, THEN OUR VISION WILL ONLY BE “TEMPORAL” AND “TEMPORARY” AND WE STAND THE CHANCE OF NEVER ENTERING INTO THE FULLNESS OF THE PROMISES YHWH GAVE US IN MOSES AND YESHUA= A UNIFIED PEOPLE WITH YHWH IN OUR MIDST BINDING US TOGETHER INTO A BEAUTIFUL TABERNACLE IN THE WILDERNESS.

STEPS TO HAVING A WILLING HEART

1. A Willing Heart is an Obedient Heart:   Communication’s most powerful contributor –believe it or not –is Vision.  The sign that you are walking in line with the communication of the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God) is that HIS VISION and PURPOSE for the Life He has given you will become your passion.  The VISION that God has prophesied for this generation is to REUNITE THE KINGDOM OF ISRAEL UNDER ONE UNIFIED STANDARD and that STANDARD IS THE LIVING MESSIAH.  This Unity is the UNITY that Yeshua prayed that we would receive in John 17.

Without OBEDIENCE there is NOT A CLEAR VISIONOBEDIENCE SETS THE DIRECTION AND THE AGENDA.  IT CLEARS OUR MINDS FROM THE PETTY TO THE IMPORTANT.

THE VISION and the MISSION and the DECLARATION and IMPLIMENTATION OF GODS VISION –FOR UNITING THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND THE HOUSE OF JUDAH–MAKING THE TWO INTO ONE –AND UNIFIYING HIS THRONE IS PARAMOUNT TO ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS WORLD.  This is the “KINGDOM OF GOD” that everyone claims to walk in but they have no power to maintain.  Today in many Churches and Shul’s we have “SPIRITUAL DIALYSIS CENTERS” where you go in–get hooked up and get your blood cleaned from all the toxins that have built up from the previous weeks intake and then people are released.  The hour of blood cleaning is a Critical Condition–not a position of POWER.  The Kingdom of GOD is NOT ABOUT WORDS–we heard the same words in the Church for decades–and they had NO POWER. People are in such desperate need for the miraculous–that they literally have created an effect where they go forward for prayer–and where the Leader lays hands on them–they fall down on the floor in a demonstration of acting that would make the Academy Awards in some places.  They know that YHWH is not pressing them to the floor–the Leaders know that YHWH is not pushing them to the floor….then why do we do it?  We know it is not “Slain in HIS SPIRIT” because HE IS LIFE AND HE THE RESURRECTION –and not promoting death through “Slain in the spirit”–only satan promotes death.

These exercises are just another attempt from a finite being to  reach up to an infinite God with little more than human understanding.  Because our sick and damaged hearts are willing to do anything and everything except the one thing that YHWH said to do–to OBEY the TORAH.  The TORAH is the ROCKET  SHIP ON THE LAUNCH PAD OF YOUR LIFE PROVIDING TRUE POWER, but UNTIL YOU WILLINGLY OBEY –You will NEVER RISE TO NEW HEIGHTS IN YOUR WALK WITH YHWH.

ISAIAH 1:19 says “ If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land;

MATTHEW 26:41 saysWatch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

ROMANS 12:16 saysLive in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

2.  A Willing Heart is a heart that it unencumbered by the PAST and is focussed on the “What YHWH is doing in the now,” in preparation of the Future.  Whoever your were—and WHATEVER YOU WERE is irrelevant in light of YOUR CHANGED STATUS.  You may have been a Catholic from Indiana or a Baptist from OHIO or an AGNOSTIC from Texas–but ALL OF THAT STATUS was to be SURRENDERED TO GOD at your conversion.  Our heart must be WILLING to leave behind our ABUSE MENTALITY and the “POOR ME” of all the crimes that our “PARENTS”–and “GRANDPARENTS”–or “FORMER SPOUSES”–did to us.

Humans even hold on to things we blame GOD for since we did not get what we wanted or the situation did not turn out the way we wanted things done.  Not to say that THOSE THINGS DID NOT HURT–THEY DID–but if our focus is on the VISION of erecting the MISHKAN OF OUR LIVES FOR THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD YHWH TO WORK IN AND ABIDE THROUGH THEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE AHEAD TOWARD JERUSALEM.

YOU CANNOT EVER CHANGE A SINGLE THING IN YOUR PAST–SO STOP ALLOWING YOUR MISTAKES AND FAILURES TO CLOUD YOUR VISION FOR YOUR TOMORROW!!  WHAT GOD DID WITH YOU BEFORE–HE WILL GENERALLY NEVER DO WITH YOU AGAIN THE EXACT SAME WAY BECAUSE HIS KINGDOM IS ADVANCING; IT IS NETHER STATIC NOR RETREATING.  ANYWHERE WE BUILD AN ALTAR AND STOP TO BOW OUR KNEE–IS CALLED AN “IDOL” –EVEN IF WE SPIRITUALIZE IT BY CALLING IT AN  ALTAR.  YOU WERE A GENTILE—WHICH MEANS “CONFUSED PAGAN UNBELIEVER” BUT TODAY YOU ARE ISRAEL–CO-RULER WITH YHWH IN THE DOMINION OF THIS EARTH.

YOUR WILLING HEART TO FORGET THE SINS–GONE–BY–WILL EMPOWER YOUR FUTURE.”

ISAIAH 43:18 SAYS “ Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

ISAIAH 65:16 SAYSWhoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth; he who takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.”

ISAIAH 44:21Declare what is to be, present it– let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me

3.  A Willing Heart is a heart that displays a lifestyle of worship that manifests in the Signs and Wonders of Deuteronomy 28 in operation THROUGH your life.

IF we obey the Torah, with a WILLING HEART then we will begin to take on a LIFESTYLE THAT LOOKS LIKE AN IMITATION OF YESHUA’S.  Gone will be the broken down reasoning that says “I didn’t have enough faith” or “perhaps it was not God’s will for me to receive.”  These are the accusation of the Enemy Accuser, not of YHWH.  This is the way the WORLD THINKS and not the way the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL THINK.  YOU MUST STOP YOURSELF FROM ALL THOUGHT THAT SENDS YOU INTO A MINDSET THAT IS OUTSIDE THE COVENANT THAT YHWH PROMISED TO THE SEED OF ABRAHAM.

IF YOU LIVE OUT THE PROMISE OF THE TORAH THEN YOU WILL BE “A LIGHT” TO ALL WHO COME INTO CONTACT WITH YOU–YOU WILL BE THE BLESSING OF DEUTERONOMY 28:1-14.  IF YOU LIVE “THE CURSE OF DISOBEDIENCE TO THE TORAH”–YOU WILL BECOME THE CURSE FOR EVERYONE YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH FROM DEUTERONOMY 28:15-64.  WHAT YOU CHOOSE IS A SIGN OF YOUR SONSHIP–OF WHERE YOUR HEART IS ALIGNED.

DEUTERONOMY 28:1-3 SAYS “ 1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:  3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

DEUTERONOMY 28: 15 SAYSHowever, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: 16 You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.  17 Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.”

4.  A Willing Heart is a heart which brings down the Shekinah of YHWH

TO BRING DOWN THE SKIKINAH OF YHWH, WE MUST PREPARE OUR HEART AS THE TEMPLES FOR THE RUACH ELOHIM–THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOST HOLY.  WE CANNOT MAINTAIN UNCLEAN LIVES AND EXPECT THE POWER OF GOD TO SHOW UP WITH THE BLESSING.

THE REUNIFICATION OF THE HOUSE OF JUDAH AND THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL WILL BRING ABOUT THIS SHIKINAH GLORY IN A CORPORATE MANNER–BUT UNTIL OUR CONFESSION AND OUR CONDUCT BECOME THE SAME–THEN WE ARE NOT PREPARING FOR A TABERNACLE IN THE WILDERNESS–BUT FOR A WANDERING IN CONCENTRIC CIRCLES.

TO UNDERSTAND THE 4 REALMS AND HOW WE FIT INTO THE PROCESS OF PREPARING TO “BRING THE MESSIAH DOWN EACH WEEK–AS WE BRING DOWN HIS KINGDOM –WE MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND HOW YHWH RELATES TO SPACE AND TIME.  TIME IS THE MOST IMPORTANT–THIS IS WHY THE SABBATH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT–BECAUSE EVEN YESHUA STOPPED AND RESTED ON THE 7TH DAY.  WHEN SPACE CONFLICTS WITH TIME [meaning we run out of time to do all we would like in the 6 working days each week] –TIME MUST ALWAYS BE GIVEN PREFERENCE LIKE ON THE SHABBAT AND THE MO’EDIM AND REGALIM (THE FESTIVALS AND APPOINTED TIMES THAT YHWH HAS SET TO COME FORTH IN OUR MIDST IN POWER.)

LET’S START WITH THE NAME OF GOD: YHWH

Yis transliteration for a Hebrew “Yud” and stand for “What Was” before Eternity.  This is the highest Heavenly Realm called “Azzilut” –which is the “Throne of  YHWH” –Heaven Come Down and Dwelt among us. THIS IS YESHUA YHWH.

His the transliteration for the Hebrew letter “HAY” and stands for  “What IS” currently.  This realm is the 3rd Heaven called “Beriah”–or the place of Creation, “Gan Edan:” the Garden of Paradise.  The mercy seat of the MISHKAHN which is a type and shadow of Yeshua’s physical body” reopens the pathway to return to this place in the Garden where the Etz Chayim: The Tree of Life, or  “THE TORAH”  is free to be eaten and those who do will live forever.  Once closed and guarded by the swords of two K’ruvim (Cherubs) because of Adam’s Sin–this way is not opened for our daily return in the Spirit.

Wis the transliteration for the Hebrew letter “WAHV”  or “What WLL BE.”  This is the 2nd Heaven which is called “Yetzerah “–The place of Spiritual Warfare where Angels and Demons oppose one another and where WE mandate what WILL BE by our ACTIONS OF OBEDIENCE–restoration of THE WHAT WAS.

H– is the transliteration for the Hebrew letter “HAY” and when coupled with the first 3 verbs of YHW+H–it says “WHAT WAS, WHAT IS and WHAT IS TO COME– the 4th Heavenly realm called “Assiyah”–The place where LIGHT and DARKNESS manifest together; this is where we live without Torah in our lives.  If the LIGHT of Torah is absent, then DARKNESS REIGN’S in CHAOS and FRUSTRATION.  If the LIGHT of Torah is present–IT DRIVES OUT THE DARKNESS and everything AFFILIATED with it…..SICKNESS, DISEASE, BEING LAME, BEING MUTE, BEING DEAF and restores the THRONE OF YHWH IN THIS REALM and  HOLDS IT’S PLACE FAITHFULLY UNTIL HE RETURNS.

THE MISHKAN IS YESHUA and THE MISHKAN IS ME:  UNDERSTANDING THE REALMS AND HOW THEY RELATE TO THE NAME OF GOD AND OUR LIFE HELPS US TO KNOW IF WE ARE BLESSED OR WALKING IN THE CURSE– IT PROVIDES US DISCERNMENT.  IF THE “WAS” and “IS” and “IS TO COME” are not present then we are not in the light.  THE “WAS” and the “IS” and the “IS TO COME” IS WHAT YESHUA MEANT WHEN HE SAID “I AND THE FATHER WILL COME IN AND MAKE OUR HOME WITHIN YOU.”  THAT IS THE “YH” and the WAHV WAS GIVEN ON SHAVUOT–PENTECOST SO THEN, THE “YH+W” NOW RESIDE IN THOSE WHO ARE OBEDIENCE AND WILLING IN HEART TO OFFER THEIR LIVES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE.  THE TORAH IS THE LADDER OF JACOB–IT IS THE “SON OF ADAM” –THE SON OF YHWH.  MOSES HAD PEOPLE GIVE FROM A WILLING HEART TO ESTABLISH THE MISHKAN–AND YESHUA IS THE MISHKAN–AND AS WE LEARN TO STUDY AND WALK IN THE TORAH IN OBEDIENCE TO THE TORAH–WE UNITE THE “WHAT IS TO COME” WHICH RETURNS US BACK TO THE PRE-ADAMIC STATE ALLOWING US TO WALK IN THE REALM OF BERIAH–THE REALM OF CREATION.

MATTHEW 5:1-12 SAYS1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:

3″Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

5Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will be filled.

“Faith or Fear”

Scripture Reading 2 Corinthians 5:3-6

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of Elohim, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Mashiach. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

1. Fear is a spirit—that comes from the realm of death—its strongman spirit is “Fear of Death” and most of us live our lives in fear of death.  We fear the unknown, loss of our reputation, job loss, health loss, spousal loss, financial loss, loss from liability, loss from nuclear war, loss from hurricanes, basically—we walk in constant fear.

a. Fear is the power of the realm of darkness—When Adam and Chavah sinned—it was Death that brought about the spirit of Fear.

Genesis 3:6-10 saysWhen the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD Elohim as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD Elohim among the trees of the garden.  But the LORD Elohim called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

Romans 5:12 saysTherefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned”

b. Faith is the counter opposite of fear—in fear you have no control-only death has control—in Faith Elohim gives you perfect control

Isaiah 26:3 says “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.”

c. Fear left long enough—is referred to as an imagination—and idol that exalts itself against Elohim

2 Corinthians 10:5 says “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of Elohim, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Mashiach.”

d. Elohim has not given us a Spirit of Fear—it is something that we mix with the holiness of His Name!

2 Timothy 1:7 says “For Elohim did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”

Romans 8:15 says “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

2. Fear only has power when it is backed by the realm of Death

a. Before Messiah, the Realm of Death ruled the Earth

Romans 5:14 “Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.”

Romans 5:17 “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive Elohim’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Yeshua Mashiach.”

b. Death is the power of Lawlessness

Colossians 1:13 saysFor he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”

Deuteronomy 30:15-19 says “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your Elohim, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your Elohim will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other Elohims and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

c. By Taking on Flesh, Elohim removed the realm of Death from power

2 Cor 5:21 says “Elohim made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of Elohim”

1 Cor 15:54-55 says of Death “When the perishable has been clothed with the perishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” Where, O death, is your victory?

d. Death prosecuted an innocent man—shedding innocent blood so that we would be free to walk in the Light of Elohim

Matthew 27:4  says “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”

3. Perfect Love—which is the Torah—casts our all fear.

a. Fear is an illusion—you cannot kill something that is already dead

Colossians 2:20 says “Since you died with Mashiach to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules”

Colossians 3:3 says “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Mashiach in Elohim”.

b. Natural Death is our ticket to Gan Eden

Luke 23:43—Yeshua speaking to the thief on the Cross said “Yeshua answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” This comes from the Hebrew word Strong’s #6508– PARDEC—meaning Joyful Garden!

c. The Torah of Life has freed us from the Law of Death

Romans 8:2 says “because through Mashiach Yeshua the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death”

d. s.a.Tan is Defeated—he is powerless—he has no power any longer—only you can bring about the realm of death back into your life through lawlessness!

Hebrews 2:14 says “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil.”

E. So what is there to Fear?

If Faith is the substance of things hoped for– and the evidence of things not seen; then how much more is fear the substance of despair and a lack of evidentiary proof that what is unseen exists?????

Fear is the anointing of the realm of death whereas Faith is the product of a law abiding life–one that adheres to God’s teaching and instructions called the “Torah.”  When we were among the gentile nations–not grafted into the natural olive tree with no hope or any reason to live as anything other than brute beasts; to the point that we despaired our very lives.  It is this despair that be “chosen” to be a “in-grafted” blood born member of Israel through the conversion process of acceptance in the Priestly offering made by Messiah Yeshua–the Kohen Gadol–of High Priest of the order of Malkitzadekian Priests.

You were made to be delivered and how you live your life will be a sign of whether you are in Israel–the Israel of God.  I am not referring to the Eusibus definition–where we are somehow replacement theists–arguing conform to some religion and thus by our conformity we become “spiritual Israel”–heaven forbid.  No–we ARE now Israel, grafted into the Natural Olive Tree which is cultivated by the Lord Yeshua.  He is the engrafting “husbandman” who guards over each sapling which He himself chooses to graft into His Olive Tree.

The Bible says that God will allow the Sun and the Moon to stop functioning long before He stops loving and caring for Israel and her people.  Greater love–drove our fear from our lives.  Before we feared because we had nothing to await us but unceremonious wrath that belongs to those who follow their base nature.  Today however, we have a new life–a new outlook–a new family called Israel.  We have not replaced natural Israel but we have been grafted in along side them as their younger brothers and sisters.  Heaven and Earth may pass away–but the Torah of God endures forever.  It is the same, yesterday, today and forever.  You were once far away–fearing death and life equally.  Today, you have been given the most precious gift by grace through faith.

Faith in Hebrew is the word “Emunah” which means “Steadfast obedience to God’s Teaching and Instructions” which is His Torah.  It is the pathway in the darkness, the power that calms the raging storm, the words that cause the dead to rise and the blind to see and the lame to walk.  It is this same Torah, that men so desperately attempt to discount with their witchcraft of religion and their pagan holidays — that will tear down the walls of fear from your life.  Find a local synagogue and begin learning the Hebrew lifestyle and your faith will grow like never before–and you will break the power of hell off your life which we call “Fear’ today.

One last thought amidst this double portion; tell me one thing that God–YHWH–has created that was designed to fail?  There is nothing, as His word is in you –that  will never return to him void or short of accomplishing ALL that has been established for you to accomplish….so  as someone famous once proclaimed…..”what is their to fear?  Only fear itself!”

Today’s Reading is Exodus 29:1-9 and Matthew 25:1-13

“Is there really Oil in your Lamp?”

1 “This is what you are to do to consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without defect. 2 And from fine wheat flour, without yeast, make bread, and cakes mixed with oil, and wafers spread with oil. 3 Put them in a basket and present them in it—along with the bull and the two rams. 4 Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water. 5 Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breastpiece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband. 6 Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred diadem to the turban. 7 Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head. 8 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics 9 and put headbands on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance. In this way you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

Matthew 25: 1-13 says 1″At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6″At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7″Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’  9″ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10″But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11″Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’ 12″But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’  13″Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

1.  In this Torah portion Moses is commanded to “command” the Children of Israel the way to consecrate Aaron and His sons for their activity as Priests in the mobile moving Tabernacle in the wilderness.  The Children of Israel are to follow very specific steps in dealing with the Kohen Gadol—the Levites and all details of the Priesthood.  YHWH calls this “a Tutor” that would point us to “That which is perfect” and “when the perfection had come.”  In this portion the Sons of Aaron are to be taken before a ritual bath –which we call a Mikvah—for the purposes of setting them apart BEFORE they go through the anointing ceremony.  The anointing is something that has seemed to elude the nations and they have associated the “anointing” with everything from a “feeling” that made the hair rise on the back of your neck—all the way to how a certain Shepherd made us swoon with his highly powered oratory.  But the anointing that Messiah had and the anointing that You and I have are supposed to be a special empowering from the Spirit of Yeshua that lives within us—that makes the Torah come to life within us and makes us vessels of the Most High Elohim in the earth.  This “anointing” is pictured throughout the Scriptures as “Olive Oil” and in this Torah portion we are told to use the very finest Olive Oil to “Anoint YHWH’s Priests” and this “anointing would be a “sign” or a Teacher that would teach the people of Israel until that which is perfect—or the Messiah that was promised had come.  If this pattern—the Priesthood and the Temple Sacrificial System was to teach us—why do we just blindly accept the Marcionic interpretation of the Pauline writings that states that this system is somehow a “horrific bondage” that we need to be free of?  The actuality is that in this portion YHWH commands Moses to “command” our forefathers to follow this specific pattern for dealing with consecration of the Priesthood.  Israel was chosen by YHWH—not because they were the largest and greatest people on the planet—but because they were the smallest and most needy people on the earth.  Abraham was chosen because YHWH knew he would “TEACH HIS CHILDREN” the ways of YHWH.  The point of the this teaching was to lay out a systematic pattern of instruction for us to follow so that we would not be fooled by the ways of the differing peoples that we would encounter—and so that we would not take on their ways—meaning that YHWH’s purpose for your life is that your life be different from the other lives around you.  He has many ways of accomplishing this.  One of the ways of accomplishing this is through the process of manufacturing the precious “pure” or “virgin olive oil” that was to burn 24 hours per day in the Holy Place just outside the curtain that separated the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place in the Mishkon.  Jews everywhere and the children of Israel were to be able to see this light when ministering unto YHWH in the “Tent of Meeting.”  This light would illuminate the Tabernacle, and this is a type and shadow of not only the Holy Spirit—or the anointing in your life, but it is also a sign that your way has been illuminated and you are no longer groping around in darkness—like someone with no education might act in a spelling bee—but that you are to know the function of the ways of Your King and you are to be able to live them for the world.  The Oil is representative of the WAY—the DEREK of the Jewish people—who have circumcised their hearts and are following the Torah and Testimony of Yeshua YHWH.  The ability to come in an live as a native born member of the Jewish people is a sign of Yeshua’s “oil” burning in the Lamp—or Menorah that is in your Temple.  No matter where you go and no matter what you encounter in your life—you are going to interact with it one of two ways—either as a Jew or as a Goyim—a person of the Nations.  Yeshua YHWH desires for you to be a part of His ROYAL PRIESTHOOD….His HOLY NATION called Israel.  Yeshua is Judah’s great King and the promised One that would come—and each day He is closer than the day before in coming again.  The battle for all mankind us upon us—and it is a battle between the followers of Jesus and the followers of Yeshua YHWH.  You are currently carrying a mark that will tell the Principalities and Powers and Rulers of the Spirit Realm—who you belong to.  What does your mark say about you?  Is your Oil burning with the purity of extra virgin oil—or is your lamp out because you fail to follow the pattern set before you by Moses in the Torah—YHWH’s teaching and instruction?

Exodus 30:30-33 says of this Oil “30 “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. 31 Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. 32 Do not pour it on men’s bodies and do not make any oil with the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred. 33 Whoever makes perfume like it and whoever puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from his people.”

  1. A. Living a “Jewish Lifestyle and not a Christian one” is the “oil” that lights the lamp of the bride.  The Bride are those who have made it out of pagan idolatry worship and are in possession of His menorah–with its seven golden lamp stands [Love-{the Shamash=middle candlestick of the Menorah} -Joy--Peace--Longsuffering--Patience--Gentleness and Goodness] –which is what the Shaliach Kepha ask us to “add to our faith.”  This is what Messiah said would “make you perfect.”  If you remember Yeshua’s interaction with the rich young ruler….He said “Master what must I do to have eternal life?”  And Yeshua said “Keep the Commandments.”  The young man replied “Which ones?”  and Yeshua said “Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal.”  The Young man replied “I have kept all of these since I was a boy [pre-bar mitzvah]” and Yeshua did not correct Him, but said, “If you wish to be perfect….go sell all you have and give it to the poor–and come and follow me.”  Messiah was laying out the two sides to the Torah’s sword.  One side is simple……Keep the Commands….do–don’t do.  Easy to understand.  The second edge of the Torah’s clean blade is done ONLY by His Spirit–that of GRACE–MERCY and FORGIVENESS.  You cannot Love without it…You will have no Joy without it…no peace….no patience…no gentleness or goodness without Grace–Mercy–and Forgiveness.  We know we are to live “Clean” and avoid “unclean” as part of this walk—but what does it mean to “live clean?”  In classic Judaism something is “Clean” and it can be defined “clean” when measured against YHWH’s commands in the book of Leviticus and Unclean can be defined as anything defined as “unclean” by Leviticus. [ i.e.  Blood is unclean......Lust is unclean...Slander is unclean....perfect offerings without spot or wrinkle are "Clean"-- but in the broader Halachic sense.....anything that violates Torah's black and white “commands” is "unclean" and thus, so is "not loving--having no joy—having no peace—having no patience—displaying no gentleness--and living no goodness—for you can be certain that having these missing from your walk will make you unclean.

2 Peter 1:5-11 says “5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Adon Yeshua Mashiach. 9But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. 10Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Adon and Deliverer Yeshua Mashiach.

B. In the Mattit’yahu 25 recollection of our Rabbi’s parable of the 10 virgins—this is a story about the 10 lost tribes of the North of Israel that have until now—been scattered to the wind.  Yeshua is describing for us how this group will respond to the return of the long awaited Bridegroom.  Each of these “virgins” has a Lamp—which is actually a “Menorah.”  They all fall asleep waiting for the return of the Bridegroom—which is a type and shadow of how the 10 Tribes of Ephraim—or the House of Israel would fall away from the Torah over the years waiting for the Bridegroom to come again and celebrate the consummation of the wedding.  The Jars are full of the oil that is the purest oil that lights and fuels the wick of the Menorah [or "Lamp"] of the Virgins.  The 5 wise have JARS that accompany their  Menorim– and this is a depiction of half of the 10 tribes that were prepared for the return of the JEWISH MESSIAH…are living like the Jews—who are the ones in possession of the “oil” for the Lamp.  The 5 Un-wise are in possession of the Menorah…..but they have no oil [meaning they are not living in the manner of the Jewish people--as lived by Yeshua and the Apostles] and when the Bridegroom comes…..the “Shamash” to unite the three candles of the House of Israel and the three candles of the House of Judah–the unwise virgins will be trying to find “an oil merchant” or someone to teach them how the live the Hebrew/Jewish lifestyle….the oil…….but they will be closed out of the Bridal Chamber…..only those who “walk like Yeshua walked–will enter the inner court…..the bridal chamber.

Zechariah 4: 8-12 says “8 Then the word of YHWH came to me: 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that YHWH Almighty has sent me to you. 10 “Who despises the day of small things? Men will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. “(These seven are the eyes of the LORD, which range throughout the earth.)” 11 Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lamp stand?”

12 Again I asked him, “What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”  13 He replied, “Do you not know what these are?” “No, my lord,” I said.  14 So he said, “These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.”

Mattit’yahu 7:22-23 says “22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?, And in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’  [“Evildoer” comes from the Greek word “Anomos” Strong’s 459 meaning “Destitute of the Mosaic Law.”]

C. The Secret of the Olive Oil…that is found in this week’s Torah Portion.  Olive Tree’s are harvested by a process of “beating” by the Olive Farmer.  This “shock” causes the ripened Olives to fall away from the tree’s life giving sap.  They are collected by the Olive Farmer…..who then treads them under foot……breaking the Olives open and removing the pits–this is when things happen that seems as though they are defeats……but are really nothing more than preparation…….for the last step……the “milling” of the Oil…..the olives that have been broken open…..and are exposed……are taken to the Millstone….a large round wheel that is used to crush out the common olive oil.  But the precious “Virgin” olive oil from the remnant of the Olive that once was upon the natural Olive Tree is not crushed by the Millstone.  It is actually “Beaten” in a mortar to extract the purest virgin Olive Oil.  This is a picture of what the Torah does in daily application of our life.  When we have been connected to the “Natural Olive Tree—our lives begin to become the “Fruit” of the Olive Tree—which is the pure provider of the Olive Oil that is necessary for lighting the lamp of the Menorah that will carry the light “To the World.”  When you are faced with a situation that YHWH uses to stretch you—and test your Faith—you are being beaten in the mortar of Torah—and when you surrender to the Torah’s righteous commands—you are then beginning to extract the “purest extra virgin Olive Oil” from your life..  The purest olive oil was used to light the Lamp of the Mishkon Menorah.  This is the “Light of the World” that Messiah said you would be……a light for the Goyim to follow as they return from the Nations…….Romans 2:28-29 says you are now a Jew by circumcision of the heart….and even as Aaron and His sons were presented for bathing…..to be consecrated as Priests in this Portion…..so to are you “bathed” as your “sign” of the internal circumcision of the heart.  Then your daily adherence to the lifestyle of the Jewish people…the royal priesthood…..the Holy Nation…..by obeying Torah through the seven spirits I shared with you before…..is the sign that your Olive Oil has been accepted as “Pure” and “Virgin”  by the Kohen Gadol–Yeshua Messiah.

Isaiah 63:1-7 says “1 The Spirit of the Sovereign YHWH is on me, because YHWH has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of YHWH’s favor

and the day of vengeance of our Elohim, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty

instead of ashes,  the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,

a planting of YHWH for the display of his splendor. 4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. 5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. 6 And you will be called priests of YHWH, you will be named ministers of our Elohim. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.  7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.”

D.  There is a plan in the world today to supply less—than—pure Olive Oil and try to pass it off as “Holy unto the Lord Yahweh.”  Even as Israel has a Messiah and a Messianic period to come—there is an ANTI-MESSIAH and a period of the anti-messiah that has come upon the earth.  The average christian is completely innocent, until they are told….but the Shepherds are guilty as Hell itself…..this is why Jeremiah prophesied “Woe to the Shepherds” at the beginning of His lament.  The average christian is innocent….It is not their fault; they have fallen for the Anti-christ.  The “Christ” is no christ at all–but a cheap imitation.  So how do you know He is a cheapened imitation…..the Christ–Jesus–has NO TORAH.  Yeshua Ben Yosef was–is–and forever will be the living Torah.  Yeshua is Messiah of all Israel and Savior of Israel–Jesus Christ is the personal savior of the “self enlightened ones” called “Christians” that have been led away from Torah to their eventual slaughter.  The reason they act like the Goyim is because they are Goyim–with religious spirits. Which are the most dangerous spirits of the unclean realm….and their god is the exact opposite of what Yeshua was.  Jesus is not Jewish–ever seen his picture?  He is some tall skinny white guy with long hair and is kind of homosexual looking.  Yeshua was and is a man’s man–a carpenter by trade….a Pharisee–who wore his hair short and had payos.  The great Whore is the Roman Catholic Church and their god is Jesus Christ–who is “Anti” Christ–even as Yeshua “is Mashiach” to the people of Israel.  The Anti-Mashiach is Anti–everything that the Living Breathing Walking Talking Torah was–is and is to come.  The daughters of the great whore are the evangelicals–who have agreed to doctrinal statements about why they will not obey the Torah–or more directly…why they “do not have to.”  HaSatan–is their god–and you can tell this because they practice the same behavior…..HaSatan knows the Torah–BUT–satan–refuses to obey the Torah.  Christians have been seduced by THE seducing spirit….just like Chavah long before them …..into thinking that even though YHWH said “do not to do this”–or “do that”–that “They really do not have to obey him because Paul said so.”  Paul becomes the patron saint of the roman catholic whore and is worshipped as a god–like the same principality attempted to get people to do in several places in the book of Acts–which Rabbi Shaul responded to by tearing his clothing in the ultimate expression of “horror” and begged the people who were succumbing to this spirit to “repent” and follow Yeshua YHWH their Creator. In fact, spirit of satan goes sinisterly beyond that when it says to the average christian, if you live like Jesus–”you will be just like G-d”  The Son of Adam {Man} is ALREADY “like G-d” in that He is a living spirit, made in YHWH’s image and likeness”  but our Heart–which is our mind, will and emotions– are “exceedingly wicked above all repair.”  The mind of Yeshua–IS–YHWH…..and the mind of the average Christian is categorically opposite to an orthodox first century Jewish Rabbi; they do not even begin to think in the same dimensions.  The followers of Yeshua practice the Amidah and the Shemonei Esrei prayers on the watches–say and live by the Shema–keep clean from unclean, holy versus unholy and celebrate the festivals and feast days of the natural olive tree into which they have been grafted called the “Jewish” people or “Israel” today.  Followers of Yeshua live LIKE Yeshua did.  In striking contrast, Christians want to escape this world through something they call the “rapture” that does not even exist in Scripture,  and through this “great holy escape”…they desire to go to heaven….Yeshua wants the righteous to “Rule” the world–not leave it.  Christians can eat whatever they want, but end up dying of cancer and other food related illnesses…..whereas Yeshua did not violate Kashrut restrictions…….Christians practice easy grace which is nothing more than the appearance of a “get out of jail free card” except you never really get out of jail….and the weekly ‘repentance of Christianity” is nothing more than getting a “dog” (which is what Yeshua called a person who is “outside the nation of Israel)  to turn around…again and again…..which is nothing more than “chasing their tails” and why nothing ever changes in your life in a supernatural way……Yeshua said that whoever lives like this “does not know me or my Abba.”  Christians celebrate Pagan festivals like Ishtar (easter) and Tammuz (christmas) while changing the Shabbat from when YHWH said it was…on “the 6th Day (Friday) sundown to the 7th Day (Saturday) at sundown”–to the 1st day of the week (Sun-day)–which Constantine called the “venerable day of the Sun” a pagan holiday in 325 C.E., and thus they spurn YHWH and turn their back on His Holiest Day which is the Shabbat;  but Yeshua celebrated the festivals and feast days of Yahuah–only–and never violated a Shabbat, but cherished it with great joy and taught others to do so!  Christians–have the mark of the beast which simply means they “know what the Torah says, but they simply will not obey.”  Anyone without the “mark of the beast” will NOT be able to “buy and sell” in the last days—which means that they will not be able to transact financial transactions on the Sabbath–which means they have a mark of YHWH which will not allow them to desecrate the Sabbath–as Jews will not even carry money on the Sabbath in Israel.  The followers of Yeshua know and wouldn’t think of willfully disobeying Yahweh and buying or selling on the Sabbath.  Jesus Christ–is the anti-messiah and Yeshua Ben Yosef is Mashiach.  2 Thessalonians speaks of this “delusion” that will lead the whole world astray.  There is NO POWER for life change in Jesus Christ……..POWER only comes from implementing Torah by faith like Abraham did….and this is why the “Name of Jesus” never did anything you tried to make it do…….and why Yeshua is a name that is a strong tower–the righteous run to it and are delivered!  Jesus is okay until it begins to cost you something, then that means you “must be going the wrong way;” However, Yeshua said that following Him would cost you everything–that you would be persecuted and hated by all men because of Him….once you start keeping the Jewish lifestyle–you begin to be treated like the Jewish people have been treated by Christians for 2000 years.  Jesus is all about rabid “individualism” where as Yeshua is completely about community, and how our actions move to either repair of destroy the world.  Jesus is a false god–a personal god–a myth, a creation of the roman catholic whore of the last days, whereas Yeshua is the Master and Savior of a united Israel who sits upon the throne of David.  A tree can be known by its fruit, where Jesus and his followers have only produced violence and unspeakable things to the Jewish people—Yeshua brought salvation to the Jewish people simply because of the Patriarchs.  Yeshua is returning for a Bride called Israel–without spot or wrinkle, and only those who KNOW Yeshua will be allowed in, and many will be told “Depart from me you workers of iniquity—I–Yeshua–never knew you and the rest will be cast into darkness where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  Moses asked YHWH to teach Him His Torah–so that He might know Him.  Yeshua Ben Yosef said that those who know him will do the “things He did.”  Yeshua was a completely Torah Observant Jew–and those who follow him will live a life reflective of that fact.  Jesus is the buddy of the world–the oooie goooie brotherly “imitation love” ball, and is the Anti-Messiah that is unrecognized by the Jewish people and rejected by all who follow the Elohim of Israel.  Turn away from the Roman Catholic god called Jesus Christ–and repent and follow the Adon Yeshua Yahweh–who is YHWH who came in the flesh and is the one and only G-d of the people of Israel: those born Jewish and those who were ‘reborn’ into the faith of the Jewish people and were grafted into the natural Olive Tree that is the “Royal Priesthood” and “Holy Nation” of people who are called out to be Priests to the entire world.  The Prophet Zechariah 8:23 says “Thus saith YHWH of hosts; In those days [it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard [that] God [is] with you!”      Beloved, this day is upon you.  Leave the pagan ways of the roman catholic whore and call out to Yeshua YHWH and be delivered with the Jewish people of YHWH.

2 Corinthians 4:1-7 says “1Therefore, since through Elohim’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of Elohim. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of YHWH. 3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Mashiach, who is the image of Elohim. 5For we do not preach ourselves, but Yeshua Mashiach as Adon, and ourselves as your servants for Yeshua’s sake. 6For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness, “made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of Elohim in the face of Mashiach.  7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from Elohim and not from us.”

“Understanding the Mishkan”

1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from each man whose heart prompts him to give. 3 These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze; 4 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 5 ram skins dyed red and hides of sea cows; acacia wood; 6 olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 7 and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.

8 “Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. 9 Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.

  1. I. Exodus 25:1-10

The Mishkan, God’s prophetic picture of the portable temple in the wilderness.

  1. A. God commands the Children of Israel to make a sanctuary for him to dwell among them and with their own heartfelt donations.  Genesis 25:8 which says “ 8 “Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.”

  1. B. This Mishkan, or “Tabernacle” is a prophetic picture of our bodies and the way God wants us to walk in this last day.

  1. C. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”

  1. D. The Mishkan, or “Tabernacle “represents our obligation to sanctify–or set apart ourselves as Holy unto the Lord YHWH.  Mount Sinai, like the permanent Temples that would follow were fixed structures –thereby unmovable.  The portable Mishkan is a sign that YHWH’s Shekinah Glory would follow us not matter where we were spread through out the World.

Lev. 11:44 says 44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground.”

Lev. 19:2 says “2 “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.”

Lev 20:7 says “consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.”

  1. II. What is the “Mishkan?”  The Mishkan is the MOBILE, MOVING TABERNACLE IN THE WILDERNESS.

  1. A. Strong’s (#04908) matches the Hebrew “Mishkan,” which means “dwelling place.”

  1. B. I John 4:13 says “We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.”

  1. C. What is the Spirit that Yeshua gave us?  1 John 5:6 says, “This is the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is THE TRUTH.”

  1. D. What is TRUTH?  This was Pilate’s question to Yeshua as he was judging Him, because Yeshua is THE TRUTH, He is the HATORAH–The Word of God made flesh!  Psalm 119 and verse 142 says “your righteousness is everlasting and your law [Torah] is truth!

  1. III. What does the Mishkan say to me?  If we enter the Mishkan Tabernacle in the wilderness what would you see?  And what are the meaning of these things to us today??

  1. A. The “Brazen” or “Elevated Altar”

  1. B. The tabernacle contains two altars.  The one you see first upon entrance into the Mishkan compound is the “Mizbe’ach,” –or “the Altar of Elevation.”  The sacrifice had to be lifted up.   This is where all people enter into Israel–by the Elevation Offering of Yeshua.  He was lifted up so that we would draw near.  Exodus 27:1-8

  1. C. The offering that was lifted up on this altar was only accepted if the blood was shed on this altar; for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of Sins.

  1. D. Yeshua said in John 8:28, “So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.’”  Yeshua’s body was the eternal sacrifice of the elevated altar ushering us back into the fellowship of the tabernacle, and the unified 12 Tribes that had lost their identity while in Egyptian Slavery–but we would again be regathered in this last day!  The Elevation Offering allows us to draw near; this is the “Outer Court” where FORGIVENESS IS DOLED OUT–but ATONEMENT causes us to DRAW NEAR–to LONG FOR MORE of the PRESENCE OF YHWH.  Sadly, many people today are stuck in the outer court where the focus is on an Elevated Offering–rather than pressing IN to TAKE POSSESSION OF the PRESENCE OF YHWH–and gaining His Character, His Ability, and His Strength.  Saddest of all are those who cry at the Elevated Offering and refuse to reflect the gift of life we have been given through its atoning blood offering.

  1. IV. The Bronze Laver, represent for us the “Waters of Repentance”

Exodus 30:17-21 says “17 Then the LORD said to Moses, 18 “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it. 20 Whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting an offering made to the LORD by fire, 21 they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.

  1. A. The priest was to t’vilah (immerse) his hands and feet, so he would not die.  This represents the t’vilah we experience upon passing through the blood of Yeshua’s sacrifice.  T’Villah is a conversion baptism; its only purpose was to act as a sign of the requirement of newness of life for all who draw near its cleansing waters.  Gone is the old you from amidst the Nations of the World and Now there ONLY EXISTS an Israeli.  Those who have been through T’Villah can attest that it changes your “Status” from Alien to Native.

  1. B. John 19:34 says, “Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.”

  1. C. The blood of the elevated bronze altar and the bronze laver represent the guilt and sin offering that would flow from Messiah for every lawless action we would ever commit. Further they attest to the call of the convert to Israel to be separate and Holyset apart and prepared for the service of the King.

  1. V. Now leaving the outer courtyard we are moving into the Holy Place where we find the Menorah, the light of God.

  1. A. Made of solid gold, representative of the Torah and the oral Torah, the New Testament (Mar 1:3)  The purity and beauty of the Word of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

  1. B. Yeshua said in John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”

  1. C. Yeshua calls his body the “light of the world.” (Matt. 5:14)  We are the candlesticks representing the seven spirits of God: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, patience, gentleness and goodness. (Revelation 3:1, 4:5, 5:6)  The 7 Branches also represent the Seven Days of Creation where the immortal words “LET THERE BE LIGHT” were uttered and still produce fruit to this day by creating the Light of Life’s replication in our lives.  And lastly, the Branches are representative of the Two Houses of Israel that are joined together by the SHAMASH–or the center Candle referred to as “The Servant” of the rest of the Branches or occasionally it will be called “The Vine.

  1. VI. The Table of Showbread.  Exodus 25:23-30

  1. A. The table kept 12 loaves of bread in two stacks at all times and was eaten by the priest on the Sabbath.  They were changed representing the Terumah (remnant priests) and Israel (including Christianity today) and Judah (believing Jews).

  1. B. The table had a Golden Crown representing Messiah’s authority of office.

  1. C. This Crown represents the king’s responsibility to insure protection and provision of his country.  Our Messiah King is bound to protect and to provide provision for us.  By nature of His office of “King” his Crown assures us of the promises of safety found in Psalm 23 and many others.  His coming holds NO FEAR FOR US–only joyous expectation of the Bread that is to be changed for new.

  1. D. John 6:51 says, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

  1. VII. Incense Altar  Exodus 30:1-6  and Paroches (curtain)  Exodus 26:6

  1. A. Once the successful service, through blood and water, past the menorah and bread of presence, the presence of God descended on the Mishkan.

  1. B. Our Sages say, “The incense altar was to welcome the King of the Universe and show him honor, and his presence only came after water and blood, and faithfulness in the holy place.  That is why it was just outside the Holy of Holies.  Sadly, though many know the blood, and the water today–not many at all know anything about living faithful lives of obedience to ALL YHWH’s Word.  The Torah is the same Yesterday–Today and Forever–and adherence to it will bring about the descending of the presence of God in our lives.

  1. C. The tabernacle had a curtain made of two that was connected as one.  This was the division of the sanctuary.  This represents the veil of the sacrifice and offering that God accepts but does not desire.  Justice and Mercy is what the Lord YHWH desires for to “obey is BETTER than to sacrifice.”

  1. D. Mark 15:38 says when Yeshua died this curtain ripped in two making entry to the Holy of Holies open to all men.

  1. VIII. The Holy of Holies and the Arc of the Covenant.   Exodus 25:10

  1. A. The arc is made up of a 3 chambered box that contained, Aharon’s staff that budded, the manna, and the tablets are the representation of the Torah of Moses.  Further it represents man–as it was made of Acacia Wood and covered with pure gold.  Acacia Tree’s produce no fruit– just like the life lived in the fallacy of self-righteousness.  It is only when “Covered” with purified gold that our fruitless lives are changed and we are grafted into the natural olive tree which is Israel and begin living fruitful lives.  Those our old lives are still there–like the old Acacia Wood, the Gold Covers us and turns our dead lives into the most beautiful  of vessels fit for the Masters uses.

  1. B. The Manna represents the prosperity of Messiah, God our provider, the staff represents God’s supernatural authority over the realm of death, and the tablets represent the Torah that is carried in the heart of man and is called arc of the covenant, because they testify all Israel is to obey Torah.

  1. C. The cover or mercy seat had the two Arc Angels covering the Mercy Seat.  This was purest gold inside and out.  They are bowed and looking inward to symbolize that the only true life and wisdom are found in Torah; any other pursuit of man’s wisdom is foolishness.

  1. IX. The Covers of the Mishkan, Tabernacle. Exodus 26:6

  1. A. In this multi-colored cover there was woven the face of a lion, eagle and ox. (Ezekiel 1)  This is the representation of Joseph’s Tallit (prayer shawl) of many colors.  This cover was woven.  This tells us that color is no predictor of Holiness.  Israel is made up of every race and color under heaven just like these coverings suggest.  Racism is telling God that he made a mistake by making someone this color or that.  Let us never be foolish enough to think that God condones our divisive hatreds based on foolishly drawn conclusions.

  1. B. The second cover is made of Goat Hair and represents the “Azazel” goat or the “Scapegoat” that would die for the sins of Israel on Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement.  Exodus 26:7-13

  1. C. The third cover was Seal Skins dyed red, and represents the blood.   Exodus 36:19.

  1. D. The final cover was covered in badger, and provided water and sand proofing.   The last barrier is skin, just like a human being.

  1. X. So what does this all mean?  The tabernacle is the temple of the Holy Spirit.  1 Corinthians 3:16

  1. A. You enter by the blood of the elevated altar into the outer court.  Ephesians 2:13 says “13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

  1. B. You are washed anew in his Bronze Laver while still in the outer courtyard.  Matthew 28:19 says “19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”

  1. C. To enter the “Holy Place” we all must pass through the curtain of death to flesh. Colossians 3:13 says “13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

  1. D. You are filled with His Spirit to BE the Menorah of the Spirit of God to this generation of souls.

  1. E. You eat the bread of life and drink the wine; this ceremonial meal is only eaten by the Priests in the presence of the Lord.  This is how it will be during the Millennial Kingdom period.

  1. F. Now we CAN live in the holy of holies with God’s Manna and our God’s rod of authority and power  over death ( Aharon’s budded staff) and our God’s covenantal teaching and instructions.  The Mishkan is the mobile moving tabernacle in the wilderness that is to be a sign of our life journey to holiness that is the gift of God.  Move past the outer court and add obedience to the Torah’s righteous decrees to your life and feast upon the goodness of your God by entering into new dimensions of your walk with Messiah–the living “Mishkan!”

This Weeks Haftarah: 1 Kings 5:28 – 6:13

Today’s Haftarah Message: “Building Codes”

Today’s Reading 1 Kings 6: 11 – 13 “11 The word of the LORD came to Solomon: 12 “As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, carry out my regulations and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David your father. 13 And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.

In last week’s Haftarah, we looked at the ways in which God’s Temple – Us – gets into a condition that it needs repaired.  They were:

  1. 1. God’s Temple gets damaged from Foreign Invaders.
  2. 2. God’s Temple gets damaged from Neglect.
  3. 3. God’s Temple gets damaged from Misuse.

In this week’s Haftarah, King Solomon is building The Temple of God in Jerusalem. Just like the Tabernacle in The Wilderness, The Temple of God was built to exact specifications. When the exact specifications are followed, the promises God made to David will be fulfilled.

Since we are the modern day Temple of the Living God, we will examine the specifications, from this section, that apply to The Temple of God today.

I Corinthians 3:16 says “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?

  1. 1. Follow and Obey God’s Torah – God’s Teaching and Instruction. We must obey God’s Commands. Just like Abraham did.

Deuteronomy 6:17 says “Be sure to keep the commands of the LORD your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.

Genesis 26:5 says “because Abraham obeyed me and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees and my laws.

We want to follow God’s Commands. We do not want to mix God’s commands and Man’s commands. That is called syncretism. This is how the Modern Church lost their Hebrew Roots – Mixing the Ways of the Jewish people and the Paganism from Greece and Rome that dominated the times. Shaul warns us about this mixing.

2 Corinthians 6:14 says “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

  1. 2. Observe God’s Sabbath and the other appointed Festivals and Feast days.

Exodus 31:13 says “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.

Why must we keep God’s Sabbaths and Festivals (and Feast Days) – It is a Sign. It is the Sign that we are part of the Nation of Israel – A Nation Set Apart from all the other nations on earth.

  1. 3. Teach them to Your Children. Abraham was chosen because he would teach his children God’s Torah – His Teaching and Instruction.

Genesis 18:9 says “For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.

By teaching his children, Abraham was able to continue to build up the Temple of God, because His instructions would be perpetuated to all generations to come.

Today, as we teach our children, we assure the same. We continue to build God’s Holy set apart Temple.

Today, we are The Temple of God – God’s Temple. This is how God keeps his word that he will never leave us or forsake us. He won’t leave us because he is dwelling among us.

2 Corinthians 6:16 says “16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.

John14:18 says “18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

The Greek mindset says that God is “Up in Heaven” – far away from us. Because god is far away, up in the sky, the most efficient way he communicates to us, way down here on earth, is to throw lightning bolts at us – especially when we are bad. This is a lie from the pit of hell.

God communicates His Torah to us – by building and strengthening us with His Teaching and Instruction. We recognize this in the words we read, and when others speak God’s Torah to us. Y’Shua said that we would recognize His voice.

John 10:4 says “When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.

Do we follow God’s Commands, or the Commands of Man – which mix God’s ways and Man’s ways? Do we observe the Sabbath, Festival and Feast days of God? Do we teach our children God’s Torah – His Teaching and Instruction? Do we think God has forsaken us? We need to look inside ourselves for the answers.

“Freedom from FEAR”

Today’s Reading is Exodus 24:3-18

3 When Moses went and told the people all YHWH’s words and laws, they responded with one voice, “Everything YHWH has said we will do.” 4 Moses then wrote down everything YHWH had said. He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as fellowship offerings to YHWH. 6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he sprinkled on the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything YHWH has said; we will obey.”  8 Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that YHWH has made with you in accordance with all these words.” 9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up 10 and saw the Elohim of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself. 11 But Elohim did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw Elohim, and they ate and drank. 12 YHWH said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone, with the law and commands I have written for their instruction.” 13 Then Moses set out with Joshua his aide, and Moses went up on the mountain of Elohim. 14 He said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them.” 15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, 16 and the glory of YHWH settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day YHWH called to Moses from within the cloud. 17 To the Israelites the glory of YHWH looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain. 18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights.”

Luke 12:22-32 Says “22Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?  “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.  “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

I. FEAR is a SPIRIT–that if left unchecked can actually kill the natural body!

A.  Fear results from our past sinfulness and Torahless behavior

Genesis 3:8 says ” 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Genesis 3:10 Says “10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

Deuteronomy 28:65-67 say what happens when we violate the Torah,

“65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life.  In the morning you will say, “If only it were evening!” and in the evening, “If only it were morning!”-because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.

B.  Fear results from memories of unmet expectations–

James 4:2-3 “2You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

C.  Fear results when we look selectively at our past in denial of natural consequences that result from not obeying Torah’s habits for success

Deuteronomy 28:15 says “15 However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you”

Deuteronomy 29:45-48 says “45 All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the LORD your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you. 46 They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever. 47 Because you did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, 48 therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

D.  Fear will result in our life when we have a punishment mentality

Galatians 3:13 says “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.

E.  Greek versus Hebrew views on Judgment– Yeshua bore your JUDGEMENT on the execution stake

–The Greek View is one of punishing and torment

–The Hebrew Word for Judgment is SHAPHAT Strongs # 8199–Which means “VINDICATING”–The Hebrew view of Judgment is one of GRACE AND    MERCY–as the Judgment Seat is referred to AS THE MERCY SEAT!

II.  Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

A.   Obeying the Torah by the Spirit brings about perfect love

1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

James 1:22-25 says “22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

B.  Jesus constantly said to the Apostles: “Fear Not–for I AM WITH YOU.”

Isaiah 41:10 says “10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

C.  Yeshua left us HIS PEACE

John 14:27 Yeshua makes this promise to us “27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

D.  We fall for fear as a result of misteaching.  For example, we don’t know what Yeshua was doing in the Garden of Gethsemane–“Didn’t Jesus get scared of the Cross?” NO!

Mark 14:35-36 says “ 35Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 36″Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

III.  Fear is based in a lack of TRUST OF YHWH

A.  Trust is the condition of complete and total reliance on the Lord

Psalm 27:1 says “1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

Proverbs 3:5 says “5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

–The Word rendered TRUST here is BATACH Strongs 0982 meaning “to trust–to have confidence, to be bold–and to be secure

B.  Your days and your every footstep is ORDERED BY THE LORD

Jeremiah 1:5 says “5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Proverbs 16:9 says “9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

C.  Bad things happen in every life–Rain falls on the just and the unjust–but when you face challenges in your life–you are being disciplined by God for the ability to help– SOMEONE ELSE GET THROUGH A SIMILAR SITUATION

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 says “3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

D. FEAR is an emotion that indicates something IS ALIVE IN US–We have an AREA yet to be SURRENDERED TO THE LORD–FEAR IS ALL ABOUT OUR AREA’S OF UNFORGIVENESS–that leave us with the EXPECTATION OF PUNISHMENT

Hebrews 10:26-27 says “26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”

Isaiah 53:5 speaks of  Messiah bearing YOUR PUNISHMENT–SO NOTHING IS LEFT TO FEAR when it says “5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

E.  The 7 Keys to walking free from fear!!

1. You must SAY ONLY what Torah says about you (John 6:63)

2.  You must leave the past behind (Philippians 4:13)

3. Confess that YOU ARE in the center of God’s appointed plan for your life.                                                                                 (Proverbs 16:9)

4. You must realize that you died–and now Messiah lives through you–so He BECAME your punishment for Sin (Colossian 3:3 and Isaiah 53:5)

5Obey God’s Teaching and Instructions and keep the festivals and feast days       (Deuteronomy 28)

6.  Enter in Sabbath Observance (Exodus 20:8)

7Forgive Everyone who has ever harmed you. (Matthew 6:14-15)

This Weeks Haftarah: 2 Kings 12:1 – 17

Today’s Haftarah Message: “An Honest Repair Job”

Today’s Reading 2 Kings 12: 13 – 15 “13 The money brought into the temple was not spent for making silver basins, wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, trumpets or any other articles of gold or silver for the temple of the LORD; 14 it was paid to the workmen, who used it to repair the temple. 15 They did not require an accounting from those to whom they gave the money to pay the workers, because they acted with complete honesty.

In this week’s Haftarah, Joash King of Judah and Jehoiada the Priest are supervising repairs being made to The Temple in Jerusalem. They collect and appropriate monies, not for new Temple Implements (i.e. bowls, basins, trumpets etc), but for the repair of damages to The Existing Temple, because The Temple was in need of repair.

Today, we are The Temple of God – God’s Temple.

2 Corinthians 6:16 says “16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.

How does God’s Temple get in a condition that it is in need of repair from damages today? The answer is the same way The Temple(s) in Jerusalem were damaged in the past. Today, we will explore these causes.

1. God’s Temple gets damaged from Foreign Invaders. Solomon’s Temple was damaged by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and Herod’s Temple was damaged by the Romans. Both groups of invaders were Pagans, who lived their lives foreign to God’s Ways of living.

Today’s Foreign Invaders are those things (and in some cases people) that we know we should not be watching, reading, and listening to allow to enter our eye and ear gate – and from there gets into our spirit and mind. Ask yourself:

Do you watch TV shows and movies, or read books and magazines you know are inappropriate and pollute your spirit and mind?

Do you listen to council from people who do not follow God’s Teaching and Instruction?

Do you listen or participate in slander and gossip about your neighbors?

If you do, you are allowing Foreign Invaders – Invaders that live Foreign to the Ways of God – to influence you.

The Good News is that these Foreign Invaders can be repelled – Simply by not participate in those activities and replacing them with other activities. This is a sign of maturing.

Philippians 4: 8 – 9 says “8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 3: 15 – 16 says “15All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

2. God’s Temple gets damaged from Neglect. Nehemiah came back to the House of God that was neglected – and in true Nehemiah fashion – did not sit back and let it continue without immediate correction.

Nehemiah 13: 8 – 11 says “8 I was greatly displeased and threw all Tobiah’s household goods out of the room. 9 I gave orders to purify the rooms, and then I put back into them the equipment of the house of God, with the grain offerings and the incense.

10 I also learned that the portions assigned to the Levites had not been given to them, and that all the Levites and singers responsible for the service had gone back to their own fields. 11 So I rebuked the officials and asked them, “Why is the house of God neglected?” Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.

Today, Neglecting God’s Temple is to treat Holy items and people – the things and people associated with God – as ordinary, or everyday.

God separates the Holy and the common. As part of Israel, co-rulers with God, we are also to teach the differences between the clean & unclean and Holy & common.

Ezekiel 44: 23 – 24 says “23 They are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.24 ” ‘In any dispute, the priests are to serve as judges and decide it according to my ordinances. They are to keep my laws and my decrees for all my appointed feasts, and they are to keep my Sabbaths holy.

Neglecting God’s Word – His Teaching and Instruction (Torah) – is another way we neglect God’s Temple.

Palms 199:16 says “I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

3. God’s Temple gets damaged from Misuse. God’s Temple can be misused when His instructions are not followed. Abihu and Nadab, Aaron’s sons, presented unauthorized fire to God. The result of this was that Abihu and Nadab died because of their mistake.

Leviticus 10: 1 – 3 says 1 Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command. 2 So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD. 3 Moses then said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke of when he said:
” ‘Among those who approach me
I will show myself holy;
in the sight of all the people
I will be honored.’ “
Aaron remained silent.

Today, one way we misapply the Torah is we do not follow the “Sprit of the Torah” in situations – especially when it comes to dealing with our neighbor. Rabbi Y’Shua gives us an example of this in Mathew.

Mathew 23:23 Rabbi Y’Shua Speaking says ““Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

The most egregious way we misapply God’s Word – His Torah (Teaching and Instruction) – is when we claim The Torah is done away with – that Jesus did it so I don’t have to.

Mathew 24:35 Rabbi Y’Shua Speaking says “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Do you misapply the Torah? Do you say that the Torah is done away with and is no longer valid? We need to look inside ourselves for the answers.

This Weeks Torah Portion is YITRO

Exodus 18:1-20:20

The Haftarah is Isaiah 6:1-7:6 and 9:5-6

Malki-Tzadekian Torah is Acts 24-28

1. The Arrival of Yitro–the Father-in Law of Moses–Background………..

a.  He comes as a mentor to Moses and Moses submits to His mentorship; You will learn lessons through two mediums–Mentors and Mistakes–please CHOOSE MENTORS

b.  He watches Moses sit as Magistrate of the People of Israel

c.  He notes that what Moses is doing is something “WRONG.”  Please note Moses response–he does not get offended–he does not call the paper exposing Yitro of taking the Manna–He does not start a blog back in Midian slandering Moses meeting style for the “Good of the Body”–and He does not tell the Aharon–that He should take over leadership because Moses is a Wolf!

d.  He tells Moses that He–Moses–is hurting the people by trying to do everything himself.  So many leaders today fall by this “Suffering Hero Trip” and it is not Scriptural!

e.  Lastly, after Moses makes the Correction, His Mentor Yitro leaves Him.  A mentor will leave you better off than when they met you.

2. Let’s Get Married Exodus 20:2 Ha’D’Varim—Your Kettubah Marriage Contract

a. In Traditional Hebrew Weddings the Bride goes through a ritual washing called a “Mikvah” before going to meet her bridegroom, signifying a change of Status-symbolically cleansing the Bride and Groom from all impurities.
b. The Journey of the people of Israel through the Sea of Reeds was the act of Mikvah in preparation of their upcoming wedding
c. The next phase of the Hebrew Wedding is coming under the Wedding Canopy—called a “Chuppah” This is usually made up of the Bridegrooms “Tallit” which is upheld by the friends of the Bridegroom forming a “Marriage Tent”
d. In Exodus 19:17 the Torah tells us that when Moshe brought the people out to hear the thunderous voice of God, that they stood at the “base” of the mountain. The Hebrew words translated as “base of the mountain”, support a translation that curiously would read: “underneath the mountain”

3. The Kettubah: Hebrew Wedding Contract

a. In traditional Hebrew thought the marriage is sealed by the “KET-TOO-BAH” which spells out the rights and responsibilities of the Marriage Covenant
b. In Exodus 19:3-8 Torah tells us that God called the children of Israel out for a special purpose: God was wedding Himself to the people of Israel
c. The Children of Israel were to adhere to God’s covenant and God would be a Husband to them and what was their response in 19:8? They Respond, “All the people answered as one, “Everything ADONAI has said, we will do.”
d. But what was the “Marriage Contract” what was the “Kettubah?” Well the answer is obvious: THE TORAH is the marriage contract between the groom (God) and his unified bride (Israel).

4. Your Marriage Contract #1 Exodus 20:1-2

a. Verse 1-“I am ADONAI your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the abode of slavery.”
b. This correctly identifies the one who did the delivering, in respect to the ones who were delivered, as well as, establishes the location of the delivery.
c. Authority is clearly the key here. In other words, there is no one else BUT ADONAI, and it is indeed HE who has freed YOU from Egypt.

5. Your Marriage Contract # 2 verses 3-6

a. Exodus 20:3-6 ­
b. We are expressly forbidden from allowing another god to occupy this place in our lives
c. Any man-made form or likeness of the creation of God, used for the purpose of adoration or worship, was to be counted as an idol, and thus, forbidden.
d. Such disobedience warranted the punishment of God, even down to the children of the parents committing the idolatrous act, but this was not judgment. We must be careful not to confuse the two. God is interested in restoration and blessing, which is why he only visited the iniquity to the 3rd and 4th generation, yet, graciously granted his favor to the thousandth generation of those whose hearts remained pure!

6. Your Marriage Contract #3 Exodus 20:7

a. The Hebrew word translated as “lightly” is “shahv”, and comes from a root word meaning “desolate”, “empty”, “false”, or “worthless”.
b. Upon examination of this word, we can deduce that it is not referring to what we call in modern language “swearing” or “cussing”. Rather, the understanding is that the Holy Name of God is to be used with all of the reverence and respect that it is due.
c. For, as it has remained fundamentally true in Messianic thought, the name is not just a title, but also an embodiment of the character of an individual. To make God’s name desolate, or empty, is an affront on God himself.

7. Your marriage contract #4 Exodus 20:8-11

a. This commandment cannot be emphasized enough in it’s importance—it is the wedding ring of this marriage (Exodus 31:16)
b. Spiritually, this speaks to our position as sons and daughters in Messiah. Before we came to be sons and daughters, we “labored” to become acceptable in the sight of God. But once we placed our trusting faithfulness in Messiah Yeshua’s atonement, we “ceased” to labor! We now “rest” in the finished work that he freely accomplished on our behalf!

8. Your Marriage Contract #5 Exodus 20:12

a. Honor your Mother and Father!
b. This is the first mitzvah that carries a promise along with it
c. Your Father is to teach you how to receive God the Father and your Mother is to teach you how to receive the Holy Spirit

9. Your Marriage Contract #6 Exodus 20:13

a. This command is to be taken literally. Blatant disregard for human—or animal—life was to be considered murder!
b. War, self-defense, accidental death, or ritual slaughter is not to be counted in this same category.
c. This mitzvah could also be understood figuratively, when the topic is our everyday speech! The tongue can just as easily and effectively “murder” an individual, as the sword can.
d. YOUR WORDS CREATE LIFE –OR—DEATH! Don’t be a Murderer!  The Rabbi’s taught that if you publicly shame your neighbor–causing the “blood to run from their face” then you have murdered them.  In today’s society with the anonymity of blogging and email–many people true hearts are exposing them as murderers.  Be assured that NO murderer will enter the Kingdom of Heaven according to Yeshua.  We are saved to bring life–not death–no matter what the person has done; otherwise we become the servant that strangles the man who owed him 5 dollars and he had just been forgiven of a million dollar debt!!

10. Your Marriage Contract #7 Exodus 20:14

a. This mitzvah speaks first to the literal sexual act of joining to one who is not your spouse by marriage. Spiritually, it speaks of the act of following another god!
b. As such, it once again emphasizes the command given in Verse 2 of this chapter “You shall have no gods before me…..”
c. It is fitting that as the 7th commandment—this is the One ALL Israel has struggled with the most! What are the other gods you worship? (i.e. success, prosperity, sex, cigarettes, jealousy?)
d. The violation of this command severs a viable relationship between a husband and his wife. Israel’s (OUR) adultery today– serves to have the same effect between she and her husband God!

11. Your Marriage Contract #8 Exodus 20:15

a. Self explanatory. If it doesn’t belong to you, don’t take it as your personal possession.
b. Your Husband wants to be your SOLE provider!
c. Do you rob other people of blessings by not receiving—by rejecting love—by running away when teaching gets too hard to handle?
d. Do you fail to tithe—so that the POOR, WIDOW and ORPHAN can be cared for?

12. Your Marriage Contract #9 Exodus 20:16


a. Don’t lie; don’t be misleading.
b. Establishing a system of justice and honesty has always been a priority with God. Giving false reports degrades that judicial system!
c. As such, our honesty one with another is to be a direct reflection of the pure character and honest nature of the Unique God that we serve

13. Your Marriage Contract #10 Exodus 20:17

a. Actually, this could serve as a precursor to the 9th commandment against stealing.
b. If you do not harbor covetousness in your heart, you will not be prone to steal that which is not yours, in an effort to satisfy your lust!
c. The delineation of possessions shows that from the greatest to the smallest of these things, your neighbor owns them, and you are not to desire them as your own
d. This includes spiritual blessing—the anointing—and the calling on the lives of others! Your husband wishes to be mighty on your behalf!

14. Acts Chapter 2 and Exodus 19

a. Torah was given on Shavuot—the same day as Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2
b. Now the display of the tongues of fire and the presence of great sounds is reminiscent of the Sinai encounter. The rabbis also teach that when God presented the Torah to the people, that it went forth in a multiple of fiery substance, inviting each individual Jew to accept the command to follow the whole of the Torah. The account in Acts describes the tongues of fire alighting themselves upon each person. In the Sinai delivery of the Torah, the account says “thunders and lightning’s…” (KJV).
c. he actual Hebrew word rendered lightning’s is “voices”! This strengthens the connection to the Acts account, with each man able to recognize the preaching in his native “voice”—or language!
d. God could remarry ALL ISRAEL (both Judah and Christianity) because Yeshua–the Living Marriage Contract had died–allowing for this marriage in Acts 2 to take place!

15. The Goal of Torah Romans 10:4

a. Our sin nature makes us prone to disobedience
b. Torah reminds us of how we do not measure up to our wifely status—married to the King of the Universe
c. Perfection is not required—or our Husband would not have made the sacrifices for Sin available
d. Only struggling to capture being the BEST WIFE we can possibly be
e. “For the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to everyone who trusts.” (Romans 10:4)

Today’s Message – “What To Do In The Face of Death”

Exodus 14:1-13

1 Then the LORD said to Moses, 2 “Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. 3 Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’ 4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD .” So the Israelites did this.

5 When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!” 6 So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him. 7 He took six hundred of the best chariots, along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them. 8 The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly. 9 The Egyptians-all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen  and troops-pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon. 10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD . 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” 13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

1. Trusting God in the Face of Certain Death

In last week’s portion, Pharaoh and the Egyptians experienced the final 3 plagues – The Plagues of Locusts, Darkness, and Finally the Death of the Firstborn. The Children of Israel were not affected by the Plagues of Locust and Darkness. Their obedience to the instructions of the Passover kept the Children of Israel safe from the striking down of the Firstborn. It was only after the death of Pharaoh’s own son did he let God’s People Go – the original command from God. The Children of Israel did not only leave, but they left with “stuff” – their “stuff” and the Egyptian’s “stuff”.

This week’s portion chronicles how the Children of Israel crossed the sea and began their 11 day journey to The Land promised to Abraham – that only took 40 years to complete.

a. God Commanded the Israelites to turn back toward Egypt!

Exodus 14:1 says “”Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon.”

b. They have finally left Slavery and God causes them to turn back toward their oppressors

c. Why Didn’t God take them the Direct Route?

d. God was setting a trap for their enemies, and treating the Israelites as Sons

2. Hebrews 12:7-12 says “7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

12Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.”

3. Moses Is Instructed To Uplift His Staff Over The Water Of The Sea

a. The sea is a type of mankind tossed by the waves

b. Moses is commanded to raise his staff in verse which comes from the Hebrew word Mattah (Strongs 04294) which means “Staff—Rod—Branch—Branch of Vine!” Moses is instructed to hold (TORAH)—or said another way–Yeshua up over the waters

c. The waters part in two massive walls of water
One for the House of Judah-The Second for the House of Israel  (Those coming out from Casual Christianity)

Pharaoh and His Army represents the worldly system

Israel passes through the water on dry ground

Pharaoh’s army pursues and the water comes back together

The coming together of Judah and Israel—like the walls of water—will crush the enemy for all times in your life!

5. The Three Day Journey

a. Following this great deliverance the Israelites travel for three days

b. “Jesus” Hebrew name is “Y’SHUA” which means Great deliverance—or Salvation!

c. This three day journey was all it took for a slavery mindset to come back upon the Israelites

6. The Waters of Marah

a. The three days represents Israel’s being without Torah for 3000 years—it also represents repentance: Torahs Goal in our lives!


b. When our soul is not fed the Torah—we can become grumblers


c. They couldn’t drink the water they found—because it was bitter-This is Strong’s word 04843 meaning Marah—bitterness

d. Like the Israelites, we cannot enter covenant because of the bitterness of sin in our lives.

7. Moses throws the wood into the bitter water

a. The wood represents the Tree of Life-Torah—When this water representing the Spirit-touches Torah—there is Life!! We can partake of God’s Teaching and Instruction—not the bitterness of Laws

b. God warns the Children of Israel against being a grumbler-Are you a Grumbler?

c. Exodus 15:6 says, “He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD , who heals you.”

8. This was long before the writing at Sinai

This teaches us that the principles of Torah have always and still govern the earth

This also shows that these principles have been around since before they were in Egypt, before Abraham, before Adam

It is ONLY our adherence to them—in all areas of our life—that our lives go from bitter to sweet!

9. Following this God leads them to Elim—the beautiful Oasis

a. There are 12 Springs and 70 Palm Tree’s

b. The 12 tribes are to present the living Torah to the Nations of the World—supplying them with LIVING WATER (Yeshua)

c. The Living Water that flowed in the Garden of Eden still flows out to us today—but grumblers and bitter people cannot receive it!

d. We must not forget ALL God’s mighty deliverance in our lives—and be BUSY taking TORAH to ALL NATIONS while there is still time!

God did not just send the Children of Israel into the wilderness.  “When He Sent” – “B’Shalach” – the Children of Israel out of Egypt – out of their bondage and oppression of Pharaoh – God sent them for His purpose which was their deliverance – and ultimately our deliverance. The Grumblers and Complainers, as we shall see, will end up costing the Children of Israel. The cost will ultimately be This 1st generation of Israelites not entering the Land – Ertez Israel.

The choice we are all faced with is – Will we Obey regardless of what it looks like? Will we have faith – the faith to take a step – Will we take the step forward? When we don’t get the job, sponsors endorsement, or a myriad of other things – will we take the step – move forward?

Today’s Message:  “Selective Amnesia”

Exodus 12:1-9

1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats  6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire-head, legs and inner parts. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD’s Passover.

1. Guidelines for the Passover

a. Redemption always leads away from Darkness (Realm of Death) Those who are waiting on God’s Deliverance will receive it in their perfect timing.  The Israelites came out of Egypt on the EXACT date given to Abraham Gen 15:13 which says13 Then the LORD said to him, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.”

B. For Israel-redemption came in the 1st month. God ordered this as OUR 1st month; this calendar sets all God’s Moedim (Feasts, Sabbaths, New Moon) Celebrations.  Without this Calendar we miss all God’ prophetic rehearsals for the Bride to meet her Bridegroom

C. The Israelites were to take a male lamb into their homes—just like having pets—the lamb being in our home has a similar effect. A personal relationship was the whole point of the Passover Lamb being in our “house” Ex. 12:5-6 says “5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight.

D. House is a prophetic reference to Tabernacle—Temple= Our Heart

E. Yeshua came into the Temple on the 1st month to be examined for 4 days—fulfilling this Exodus scripture

John 1:29 says29The next day John saw Yeshua coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

2.  Who Killed Yeshua our Beloved Messiah?

a. Israel was commanded toTake Care of the Lamb until the 14th day of the 1St Month when ALL THE Israelites were to slaughter their lamb at twilight” The Scripture says ALL Israel-the whole community of ISRAEL slaughtered the LAMB.”

b.  1 John 3:16 saysThis is how we know what love is, Yeshua the Messiah laid down His life for us.”

c. He died for our sinfulness—our violations of Torah—Yeshua IS our Passover Lamb—our redemption sacrifice—no other offering is necessary for forgiveness of Torah violations.

d.They shall take some of the blood and put it on two of the doorposts, and the lentil of the house in which they eat it.” Exodus 12:7  says ” 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. ,  And  Exodus 12: 22-23 says “22 Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning. 23 When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down.”

e. John 10:7-9 saysYeshua said, I tell you the Truth, I am the gate for the Sheep, I am the gate.  Whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture”

3.  The Hyssop Plant

a.  They were to apply the blood with a hyssop plant; John 19:29-30 says, 29A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Yeshua’ lips. 30When he had received the drink, Yeshua said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

b.  The blood applied to the 2 doorposts-represents the 2 houses of Israel -joined by the “Lentil=Yeshua” This is prophetic of the Ezekiel 37:15 restoration-which is the 12 Gates leading to New Jerusalem

c.  No bones were to be broken on the Lamb-none of Yeshua bones were broken—this is prophetic of the 2 houses of Israel uniting in the body of Messiah-as we are bone of His bone-flesh of His flesh

d.  John 19:32-33 says, “The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Yeshua, and then those of the other. But when they came to Yeshua and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs”

4.  The Angel of Death

a.  It was the blood that made God pass over the “Houses” He spared: Judah And Israel!  Exodus 12:12-13 says, “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn-both men and animals-and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.”

5.  End Times “Truth”

a.  Exodus 12:8-11 says, “8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire-head, legs and inner parts. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD’s Passover.”

b.  Passover is a prophetic picture of “End Times Truth,” We are to celebrate this feast for ALL GENERATIONS TO COME.  More and more Ccongregations are celebrating God’s feast knowing they were lied to Jeremiah 16:19-21 says “O LORD, my strength and my fortress,  my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come

from the ends of the earth and say,  “Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods,

worthless idols that did them no good.20 Do men make their own gods?  Yes, but they are not gods!” 21 “Therefore I will teach them—   this time I will teach them  my power and might.  Then they will know  that my name is the LORD YHWH.

6.  The “Seder” Plate

a.  The Seder plate is the centerpiece of the Passover Meal.  It contains 3 foods listed in Exodus 12.  Most plates feature an “Egg” for vegetarians—but this is MAN MADE and represents the fertility goddess of the Egyptians— we are NOT TO ADD OR TAKE AWAY from Torah —is diminishes it’s Prophetic Significance; making it easier for Saints to be fooled!

b.  Following the death of the Firstborn—the Israelites left with the PLUNDER of the Egyptians Ex. 12:33-36 says3 The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country. “For otherwise,” they said, “we will all die!” 34 So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, and carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs wrapped in clothing. 35 The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. 36 The LORD had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.”

7.  The Bread of Life

A. they left in such a hurry they carried their bread out without adding yeast to it-THIS bread became their life

b. Yeshua said,33For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. Sir, they said, from now on give us this bread. Then Yeshua declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty John 6:33-35

b.  The MATZAH –bread has no yeast—because Yeast represents Sin in our lives

You are commanded to keep this “Feast of Unleavened bread” for 7 days-representing the 7 years we will be watching as the world goes through “Jacobs Trouble.”  Anyone who did not do this was cut off from Israel—meaning NOT SAVED!

8.  Who Cannot Eat the Passover Meal

a.  Not ALL were allowed to partake of the Meal.  There were 3 categories that couldn’t Celebrate: 1- Foreigner; 2- Temporary resident; 3 Hired Worker may not eat of it

1-Foreinger, “Towshab” meaning “A STRANGER to God’s Teaching and Instructions”

2-Temporary Resident, “Bane” meaning “SON’S of INJUSTICE!”

3- Hired Worker, “Chadash” meaning to “CUT IN” somebody who tries to come in a way OTHER THAN THE GATE!

9.  Who Can Eat the Passover Meal: Can You??

a Slave, Alien and Native Born could follow Gods ways and eat of it!

1st Slave- “Abawd” meaning “To Serve God”

2nd Alien-”Guwr” meaning “One Who Fears God, Who was Born Foreign-but Granted Rights of Citizenship”=Ephraim!

3rd Native Born- “Mowledeth” meaning “kindred birth, offspring—–or a relative”=JUDAH!

10.  Why This Story??

a. Why Is the Exodus story written over and over again? Why do our Orthodox brothers pray it every day? Why did Stephen choose this as His last story before his death?

b. It is prophetically proclaiming OUR FREEDOM from the “Worlds System” that our hearts have embraced and weve been trapped by!

c.  When you live worldly-you have NO idea what gods you are worshipping: i.e. Lust, Pornography, Drugs, and Sex outside of Marriage etc.

d.  They are not pleasing in ANY WAY to God!

11.  The Exodus of THEN is NOW!

a. Their delivery is OUR delivery!! Exodus IS PROPHECY!!

b. The Passover Lamb(Yeshua) physically delivers us—and the 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread is for our cleansing our mind and soul!

c. We are clothing ourselves with the imperishable.

d. We will be ushered out—become out gathered and ingathered to the Promised Land

e. When we follow Gods Teaching and Instruction—obey his Festivals and Feasts—We will finally be rid of the bondage of this world!

Revelation 20:4 says “4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Yeshua and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

This Weeks Haftarah: Jeremiah 46: 13 – 28

Today’s Haftarah Message: “Noisy Neighbors”

Today’s Reading Jeremiah 46: 17 ‘There they will exclaim, ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is only a loud noise; he has missed his opportunity.’

This weeks Torah portion is the prelude to the exodus out of Egypt for the children of Israel. It documents the plagues of the Locust, Darkness, and Death of the Firstborn, as well as the Passover Instructions, and the Consecration of the Firstborn. This Haftarah references the actual exodus from Egypt.

Jeremiah 46:19 says “Pack your belongings for exile, you who live in Egypt

Jeremiah makes the claim that Pharaoh is “only a loud noise” or in modern terms – He Is All Talk. Today, we will examine the actions of Pharaoh and see how he was all talk and no action, and look within ourselves to see if any of these qualities are present.

1.) Pharaoh asks Moses for forgiveness, but afterwards, continues to not allow the children of Israel go and worship God.

Exodus 10: 16 – 19 says: “16 Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you. 17 Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the LORD your God to take this deadly plague away from me.”

18 Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD. 19 And the LORD changed the wind to a very strong west wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. [b] Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt. 20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go.”

2.) Pharaoh gives Moses an empty death threat. Pharaoh was not able to follow through with his threat.

Exodus 10:28 says: “Pharaoh said to Moses, “Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die.”

Pharaoh was the one who ended up at the bottom of the sea.

Exodus 14:28 says “The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.”

3.) Pharaoh said he would allow the children of Israel go and worship God – but never followed through and allowed them to leave – until the death of his first born son.

Exodus 10: 24 – 27 says “24 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Go, worship the LORD. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.”

25 But Moses said, “You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God. 26 Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the LORD our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD.”

27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go.”

Pharaoh finally allows the children of Israel to leave and demands a blessing from Moses and Aaron.

Exodus 12: 31 & 32 says 31 During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the LORD as you have requested. 32 Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.”

We have no reason to fear what is going to happen in the “Last Days”. The Last Days – the Last Days of the dispersion of the House of Israel – are quickly coming. We have no reason to fear what the modern day Pharaoh(s) of the world try and do to, because God has made promises – and HE Always keeps His word.

Jeremiah 46: 27 & 28 says “Do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel. I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid.

28 Do not fear, O Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the LORD. “Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

The question we need to ask ourselves – Do we believe the Promises of God, or the Noise from Pharaoh?
