“The Real Deal Prophet”

Shabbat Shalom Miracles of the Most High God! Before we start–say this with me: I am a miracle—  I’ve been grafted into Israel.

In this weeks Torah portion we find that God is setting up Law and Order– for these wild-west Hebrew Cowboys.  This portion begins with laying out for Israel the establishment of municipal courts and Judges –that are to rule on disputes based on Torah.  This portion goes on to establish the Sanhedrin—or the Israelite Supreme Court—made up of the 70 elders of Israel.  This court is to be both feared and revered among the people.  In fact, God commands that anyone who is found in contempt of this Court—as established by two or three witness—is to be taken out and stoned to death.  You see beloved—our God is a God of justice and justice is an earmark of the life of a believer before the Lord God of Israel.

The reason God is setting out the rule of Law within the Camps of Israel is that God is a God of Order.  What the Torah does– is establish Order in the life of every believer.  Once you come like our Father Abraham did—by faith—trusting that God exists—then– God begins establishing the Kingdom of God in your life.  The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, peace and joy in the Ruach HaKodesh—or–Holy Ghost.  The first step of establishing Gods kingdom within our lives is the establishment of the rule of order for us.  God gives us instructions which we are to follow.  Following them not only brings about supernatural blessing and abundance in our lives, but it establishes—through our obedience—that we are in covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the blood of Yeshua our Messiah.  This obedience brings about right living– which is righteousness—and that frees us to move onto the second stage of our relationship with God—that is peace.  But you see where there is no order—there is no peace.  You will never have true peace in your walk with Jesus—until you submit to the obedience of keeping Gods Torah by His Spirit.

It is God’s order—or his Torah—which is His instructions in right living– that establishes us– in places of peace.  It is this Torah driven life that led King David to be able to clearly proclaim, “Yea– though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death—I will FEAR NO EVIL– Your Rod and your Staff they comfort me.”  The rod that David is speaking of– is what the Orthodox Jews call “The Torah—the Rod of God or the Staff of Man.” David knew that Gods Torah—His instructions for right living—is what please God– and that by his walking in Gods orders– that no weapons formed against him would prosper.  This leads to the next part of Kingdom life and that is Joy.  Have you ever noticed that some believers today are of the nastiest– most irritable bunch of mean spirited people– that have ever walked this planet?  God has called us out—chosen us by grace—and given us life and instructions in how to please Him beyond a shadow of doubt—but we display this amazing grace–by living lives that have no righteousness—which leads to no peace– and results in a noticeable lack of Joy.  It is because we have been sold a bill of goods that is not true.

We have bought a lie—and we have been individually– and corporately deceived.  We have come together– year after year and have been taught a lie that has guaranteed our sure and swift defeat.  We pull out occasional nuggets of truth, but we largely leave THE truth– that leads to righteousness—peace—and joy—or the Kingdom of God, sitting as it gathers dust on our shelves.  But why do we do this?  I dare say that there is almost nobody in this house today– that would individually admit that they were trying to displease God; in fact, quite to the contrary.  You are faithful people and are seeking the truth—or the Ruach—or the Holy Spirit would not have wooed you into coming here today.  You see beloved—judgement begins with the House of God, and that Judgement is falling on His house.  Those who are wise– are trained by discipline as the scripture says in Proverbs.  And God is beginning to discipline us as a people—so that we will draw into deeper levels of the anointing—and so that we will put down our petty differences– and lay aside everything that seeks to make us stumble, and so we will be the immaculate—holy bride– that Messiah deserves upon His return.

So how do we know the difference between the many and confusing voices that are going forth today through the body of Messiah, –and what does God require of us as we walk out these last days in human history?  Turn with me to Deuteronomy chapter 18 beginning at verse 14: “The nations you dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination; But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so; The Lord your God will raise up a Prophet like ME from among your brothers, you MUST listen to Him.  For this is what you asked of the Lord your God at Horeb on that day of the Assembly when you said, ‘let us not hear the voice of the Lord our God nor see this great fire anymore or we will die.’ The Lord said to me, ‘What they say is good.  I will raise up a prophet for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, I will put my words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I commanded Him.  If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.”

The first thing I want to you to notice– is that this is one of the most explicit places in the Torah –where God tells us that He is establishing another Prophet like Moses from among the Israelites– and that God will anoint the words of His mouth, and the prophet will speak what God wants us to know about Him and His ways—and how we are to please God.  This is a clear prophetic message leading us to the Messiah Yeshua.  Yeshua is the “Prophet” that has been raised up like Moses from among the Israelites.  This is why Paul the Apostle tells us that “salvation” or “Yeshua” in Hebrew is from the Jews.  Yeshua is from the Tribe of Judah, and a descendant of King David, and He lives upon the throne of the unified house of David—that is Ephraim and Judah—reunified under the authority of the seed of David.  If you cannot receive the Jewish people–then you are in deep trouble when it comes to eternal matters–as Yeshua/Salvation is.

Yeshua is also and more specifically–“the Prophet” that Moses was referring to, but how do we know for certain–that Yeshua was the Prophet that Moses was speaking of– and how does knowing this keep us from following after the Anti-Messiah in these last days—because we are not just battling the “man” called anti-messiah—but there is a spirit of the anti-messiah– that is prevalent today—even throughout the Churches claiming to be of the living God.  There is a mark that will separate those who are followers of the true Messiah—Yeshua HaMoshiach, and the Anti-Messiah in these last days, and Yeshua has left us clear and convincing evidence that He is the One Prophet that we are to follow in these last days. But to understand how Yeshua fulfills this Messianic Prophecy, we must first know what Moses was like, so that we can understand what he meant– when he stated, “God will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers.”

The first thing that we want to note about Moses– is that Moses was a deliverer.  Moses led the people of Israel in deliverance from the places of Confinement where they were held in slavery.  So we know that any prophet we are to listen to today –needs to be someone who preaches deliverance along the way.  Many people in the body of Messiah today are self-anointed—self proclaimed– Prophets—but God wants us to know about how we can trust the word of His prophets in this last day– by giving us this example from the Torah.  Yeshua fulfilled this attribute clearly as Rabbi Sha’ul states in Romans Chapter 11 and verse 26: “and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, The deliverer will come from Zion– and he will turn Godlessness away from Jacob–and this is my covenant with them –when I take away their sins.” We know that Yeshua clearly accomplished this through his sacrificial death upon the Execution Stake at Calvary.

The next attribute of “The Prophet of God” that was to come like Moses– is that Moses was a mediator.  You see beloved one of the jobs of Gods prophets is to be a mediator in the situations where God sends them.  They are to be the voice of the Lord to bring about the deliverance of the people.  Moses clearly fulfills this office requirement– on Mount Sinai—when the fire and smoke from the Mountain top raged forth with the Glory of the great and awesome– and mighty God, the people were afraid and asked to be veiled, and spoken to through a prophet of the Lord– and this veil of Moses continues on the hearts of many Judeans to this day.  Yeshua also clearly fills this requirement as He states during a prayer to the Father in John 17 and verse 8: “For I gave them the words that you gave me, and they accepted them.  They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that You sent Me.”

So we clearly see that Yeshua is mediating between the words of the Father– and between men.  A prophet of the Lord is one who stands in the place of mediation and mediates for mercy—or judgement on behalf of the situation that God has called them to stand in.

The next attribute of a Prophet of God– is that Gods prophet to come—and the true Prophet of today– is a sin bearer.  Of all the notable things in Moses life– there is something that is often overlooked by the Rabbi’s and most people in Israel today.  Moses was truly anointed of the Lord; this anointing had him standing in three governmental offices at once—that of the Prophet, the Priest and the King.  Yeshua too fulfilled all three of these offices, but one thing that Moses did—really sets apart how we can tell a true prophet– from a false one in these last days;  Moses was willing to lay down his life for the people.  In Exodus 32: 30 -33 the Torah says, “The next day Moses said to the people—You have committed a great sin, but now I will go up to the Lord, perhaps I can make atonement for your sin—So Moses went back to the Lord and said, Oh what a great sin these people have committed, they have made themselves gods of gold.  But now please forgive their sin—but if not—then blot me out of the book you have written.  The Lord replied to Moses, whoever has sinned against me, I will blot out of my book.”

We see that Moses loved the people so much– that He was willing to lay his own eternal soul on the line so that they can be forgiven.  Yeshua laid down his own life, so that we could be forgiven– and He thus fulfilled this scripture as recorded by John –in John chapter 15 and verse 13 when He states greater love has no man than a man lay down his life for his friends.  So any prophet in these last days that comes forward to speak on behalf of the Lord must have this level of love.  1 John 3:16 says, “This is how we know what Love is, Yeshua Messiah laid down his life for us, and we our to lay down our lives for our brothers.” If you are being called back to the restoration of the Houses of David—the Ephraimite reunion with your Judeans brothers and sisters—then you have an absolute part in this prophetic move of God; but just like Moses and just like Yeshua—any prophet who is called of God for this last day must be a sin bearer—one willing to bear one another’s burdens.  We have to stop the pettiness of Churchianity—and move into being willing to love each other so much that we lay down our lives– in service to those in our Mischpocha (or family).  Do we really have that level of commitment where we attend services?  Do you really want to see the dead raised to life– and the deaf hear– and the blind see again?  Are you really tired of playing gentile church—being about the glitz and the entertainment of the modern secularized roman based church service—and are you really ready to move into the power of God.  Ya’akov—James– calls loving your neighbor as yourself—the Royal Law—or royal instruction.  Can you imagine if we truly would apply a sin bearing attitude around here.  One where we bear with one another—we forgive people when they are tired, and when they say things they shouldn’t—NEVER condoning that sin—but being willing to associate with their humanity.  The letter of legalism kills people—but the love of keeping the Torah by faith– should cause us to burn with such love for one another—there should never be anyone in our community of believers who is in need.  God has prospered us all so much, yet people struggle.  Why do they struggle?  Because of sin mostly—but some people are just going through spiritual warfare—and who is there to hold them up.  When was the last time you made a call to somebody you don’t know in your congregation—just to say “Hi” and to bless them in Yeshua name? Or if you have means—did you ever consider offering a scholarship to some of events that we do here–that cost money for those there who are less fortunate—Like enrolling them in Hebrew classes?

God has called you to bear the burdens of one another in Love.  True prophets are willing to lay down their own lives– for the people they are trying to minister to.  They love them so much and they want them to hear and receive Gods Rhema—revealed word—they are willing to bear their faults– and their frailties.  There is NONE righteous-no not one—there is NONE that seeks after God.  Gods eyes roam– to a fro- throughout the earth– looking for just one man who will love Him with an UNDIVIDED HEART.  But He cannot find one—that is because we do not remember to BE sin bearers—and burden carriers in Gods own Camp.  The deliverance of God is on the inside of you—if you are called by the Spirit of God through the blood of Messiah—then greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world.  It is not about your inadequacy—because you have been crucified with Messiah and you no longer live—but Messiah lives in you.  You died to the old ways of your flesh—and are walking by the Spirit of God through His Torah instructions.

If we would just reach out– as dead men in the flesh—then the world would not be able to contain the radiating love of this place.  We would be One in spirit– and we would be reaching out to the world—all because we love other people enough to die for them.  Husbands—do you love your wife enough to die for her—to your flesh—and love her like Messiah loves Israel—and not just when you want your own way?  Wives—do you love your husbands enough to die to your own selfish ways—so that the good of your Husband will be made manifest—or are you competing with Him for power in the relationship?  Singles—do you love God enough to walk dead in the earth– to the carnal lusts of your flesh—so that the Spirit of God can give you the Husband—or wife– that you seek so desperately?

God wants us to be able to know– what it is going to cost us to follow Him.  So many of us—and I did for so long—made a profession—it was little more than a witchcraft confession—or a rebellious confession– that came out one side of my mouth that said I loved God—but in reality– I lived like the devil throughout the week.  You see beloved, this all comes from the Spirit of the false prophet.  The days are upon us when the Anti-Messiah will be revealed.  The evil in the world is fast increasing; but as this evil increases so does grace—and grace IS Messiah–and has been around since Genesis 6:8!  Gone are the days when a profession of faith in false Christianity– or undercover Judaism –are going to be accepted.  The mark of the beast is already prevalent among the nations.  Have you ever wondered what this mark is?  Is it a tattoo—a chip?  Or could it be– the covenantal sign of people who are in covenant with LAWLESSNESS–no Shabbat Rest–no Torah present.  Gods people–People who are called of God– and in covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through the blood of Yeshua the Messiah—do the things that their God has commanded.  They worship on Gods Shabbat—not on the Fake Shabbat of the Roman Church on “Sun-God-Day.”  They eat what God said to eat—and certainly not– what God says not too eat!  They celebrate Gods festivals– and not those of the Pagan Gods that exalt themselves against our God!  So many in the Church have been fooled today!  When Pastors—well meaning as they are—get up and say—the Law is done away with—they are preaching the doctrine of the ANTI-CHRIST—or the Man of LAWLESSNESS!!  The only thing that has been done away with—is the need for another “SIN” sacrifice—as Yeshua bore our sins upon His body and died—and defeated the grave—and He lives– to make us Holy!

Yet so many believers disobey God– and live lives that are contrary to Gods instructions –and yet they cannot figure out why they never really get delivered—or walk in abundant prosperity—so that they can bless the poor—because that is why God prospers us– so that we can bless the poor—but most places today– never give to the poor—and if they do it is certainly much less than the Preacher gets paid!  The mark of the beast is the number of man—it is 666.  This number stands for the number of man—or Me-Myself-& I.  That is the Spirit of the anti-messiah that has gone out in these last days.  Culturally, everything is okay.  Homosexual pastors—pedophile priests—churches that are little more than Las Vegas Showboats with a straw foundation, and buildings that are erected as monuments to self; business principles are taught instead of the Torah’s righteous commands–and Psycho-Babble 20 minute messages that reinforce the Greek Mind we are meant to renew and replace with an Israeli mind.  What will God do for ME is our motivation for going to congregation—not what can I do to please HIM.  ME myself and I—the unholy trinity or 666—that stands against the Torah of God.  Many people who are here today have been called out—because God has seen your heart, and he is calling out as his true bride—those who love him.  John 14:15 says, “If you love me keep my commandments.”

Your love will lead you out because the last attribute of Moses– and Yeshua– and the prophets of this last day– is that they will be “Good Shepard’s.”  A truly good Shepard does what Moses did– when he offered his life– for the life of the people.  A Good Shepard—is one who puts the welfare of the people above his own.  Yeshua could have passed on coming– and left us to the justice of God, but HIS LOVE would not compel him to do so.  You are all Shepard’s– and you all have flocks.  You may be a Shepard at work—you may have a family—you may teach a bible study, you may be called to preach in these last days, but will you be a “Good” Shepard?  The Good Shepard lays down his life for the sheep—as Yeshua said in John 10:10-15. But –a bad Shepard comes only to steal—kill– and destroy.  What do we hear on Christian TV and Radio these days?  Do we hear messages about keeping the commands of God—or do we hear constant plea’s for money– to further lavish a golden trimmed studio– and about giving sacrificially– so that we can build our church buildings in opulence– while the poor sleep without a roof over their head?  Be not fooled beloved—you can clearly distinguish between a good Shepard—and a hireling– because the good Shepard loves the sheep so much they will die to ensure their safety—and hirelings work only for money .

God has called us out of Babylon in the last days my brothers Israel—both Judah and Ephraim—Jews and former Christians—together as one united Israel– doing the work of the prophet in these last days.  You have been made a prophet-priest and king through covenant with the Messiah.  In this portion– Kings are required to write their own copy of Torah and to read it every day –so they could know the mind of God.  If we put these testers to any so called prophet—or prophetic movement of

God– then God will steer us clear of all falsehood by grounding us clearly in his Torah.  So that in the end—we will hear those precious words, “Well done my good and faithful servant” because we kept Gods Torah by faith—and not the ones we dread–depart from me you worker of iniquity—I never knew you.  Remember beloved the first step to living an ordered life is doing the Torah—this will lead you to righteousness—that leads you to true peace and lastly to the Joy of the Lord.  Judge for yourself what I have shared with you, but I LAY BEFORE YOU– LIFE AND DEATH—CHOOSE LIFE THAT YOU MIGHT LIVE FOR ALL ETERNITY IN GLORY

Shabbat Shalom
